As for ZSS, learn to read dsmashes, since that's how most ZSS players get you. You shouldn't be having too much problem fighting her in the air, but the ground aspect of the match can be a little...muddled. Once you bucket just ONE dsmash, they'll really lay off of them for the rest of the match, out of fear. That's all I can remember.

And it makes me sad that Zajderload will never be reunited.

Good ZSS only dsmash when there's nothing you can do about it/to put you in a worse situation. It's not dsmash that ruins GaW, anyway.

Uair beats his entire arsenal, aside from maaaaaaaybe bair. She controls the air, and outranges him on the ground. GaW has to get in to do anything, and it's pretty hard for him. Worse yet is that, unlike Marth, he can't really lock her down once he's in. She just jabs and runs away with bsticked sidebs.

Yeah, Garrett, let's start getting some specifics for Saturday. Some Golden guys (+ Lawkk) may need rides, I'd maybe wait for their response.

Oh, and is Melee side event a-go-go at Ranbat 2 or no? Even if it isn't, I'll annoy Tony until he plays with me in Melee and Brawl, and subsequently points out habits.

I think this ranbat is gonna be bigger than the first ranbat! people are going who didn't go to the first like jcvd,tim, and maybe lawkk, also were gonna get some new people I got from aib!

Wooooooooow, I just looked at the address for this weekend's tourney.

I literally pass by that venue every day on the way to school. And Lawkk's like a 20 minute detour both ways, maybe it'd be more convenient for Dave to pick him up.

Oh, Garrett, what's your schedule for Saturday? It'd be awesome if your schedule allowed for me to get down there early and practice beforehand, buuuuuuut, that all depends on your schedule. Lemme just say schedule one more time.

I always dominated at dodgeball, though. I camped everyone hardcore, not even kidding. Good times, 8th grade.

And Garrett, I have to manipulate a few things in order to go to the tourney scot free. It's a pain, but necessary to avoid yelling and anger, etc etc. Like, if you straight just show up and pick me up, my parents will be really suspicious since almost none of my friends from school drive, and wouldn't let me go. So, I'll have to probably take my bike to your place again and just leave it there or something, that way my parents will think I'm at someone's house, not driving around to tournies. That is, if you don't mind.

The bike thing won't a big deal this time, since the roads won't all be snowed over like they were. I'll actually, y'know, be able to BIKE there instead of having to carry my backpack and bike around half of the time because there's still snow on the sidewalks >.>

I could show up at around 10:30, and we'd head out at around 11:15-ish to pick up whoever needs to be picked up.

Actually, I haven't even checked if my mom has work that day. If she has to work that day, then you just straight picking me up would be no problem.

You're a nice guy, and I know if my parents got a chance to meet you they'd like ya. But, they hate when I go out anywhere, even to go pick up some soda from the gas station. They're THAT conservative and overprotective.

An example: They'd let you (and most anyone) come over, no problem, but they would burst a blood vessel if I told them I was waiting for a ride to go to a tourney, where they can't have an eye on me. And no matter what I say, they're always worried for no reason.

I need to pull a couple strings to get some breathing room, basically. Otherwise I'm just suffocated by overprotection.

This'll only last for another 9 months, until I turn 16.

Captains don't really matter. Tim as first captain and Dave as second would work pretty well. It might have to be larger than 5v5, if more people want to participate. Don't wanna snuff anybody :p

well idk dylan.....idk how long singles will drag on, cause colorado cutthroat never starts on time I have realized....and both of us dont want to leave if were still in the brackets

Oh, and the all important question, when is this gonna happen? I was thinking at 11, a good hour or two before the tourney?

lol and i have realized this to at most tournaments, once you get halfway through the singles bracket the people that are knocked out always play friendlies on the tv's, cause you dont want to just sit there being bored, and usually the TO's dont know and were doing like 1 match at a time for brackets....it gets really annoying

lol im sorry! im not being mean its just what happens, I know there will be late people and starting later is fine, but im just saying keep the brackets going smoothly thats all

That's why there needs to always be one TV open to friendlies and MMs, even during tourney stuff. Lets the guys that got eliminated early play and not be bored out of their minds for the whole day.

And I think I speak for everyone when I say, bring a TV if you can help it. Maybe we'll have enough TVs to put one aside for that.
