Akuma - st.rh x2 is probably one of the scariest normals in the game. Watch momochi go toe-to-toe with daigo and notice the effectiveness of that move. INSANE.Sagat and zangief for obvious reasons, viper because of her insane cancel options and iono about akuma.
ryu self explanatory, boxer self, rufus insane anti air/pokes, blanka : mix up beast?

Wow, this thread is so random. First we were talking about playing tennis sometime (SD smash tennis crew?), then phoenix and sky's drama, power rangers gay porn and now people are coming back!

Well for starters, we would already have some player profiles up. I could have a featured SD video of the week to atract more attention to the channel, post tournament impressions and other local smash stuff that may randomly come up. Mostly content I guess (IDK if you would approve) but I could do other things as well. And with an extra man on board if anyone f ucks up you have another hand available.

Now Presenting San Diego Smash IRC
Attention Duelists
So, I now registered and set-up a neat little IRC chat for anyone that wants to join. Many of use AllisBrawl, Facebook, Myspace, AIM, what-have-you, but what IRC offers is an active and permanent place for us to discuss anything we absolutely want without having to resort to repeatedly spamming this thread. So you can read me making fun of you in pseudo-real-time. Here is how you set-it-up.
There Are Two Options. The Cool Way, and the Lame Way, and the SUPER LAME WAY.
The Cool Way
1st Step: Download mIRC. www.mirc.com
2nd Step: Install It. You don't have to register or whatever, so you can keep using the trial version and what not.
3rd Step: Run mIRC.
4th Step:
Click There
5th Step:
Fill out all the information in the green box. The nickname is the nickname you'll use when you chat, and the Alternative is another nickname you'll use in case the first one is already in use. Then click on "Servers" in the red box. Find "Webchat" and the click "Select" on the right-hand side. Finally, click "Connect."
6th Step:
Once you've connected, a bunch of text will fly at you, and then this box will appear. Type in "#SanDiegoSmash" at the top. You can add to your favorites so you automatically join it once you've connected by clicking "Add." Usually, I have those checkmarks on the bottom turned off.
7th Step: You're basically done and you can start chatting. If you want to register your nickname type in "/NS Help" and you can figure it out from there. I don't hold hands.
The Lame Way
1st Step: http://www.mibbit.com/chat/
2nd Step: Click "Server" at the top of the applet. The server address is "irc.webchat.org"
3rd Step: Fill out your nickname and the channel. The channel name is #SanDiegoSmash
4th Step: Profit.

1st Step: Get Rid of your Mac Computer
2nd Step: Profit.
Breaking News: Kind of Neat Way

I'll upload this guide to the blog, and once I've done that, I'll provide a link to the guide on the blog and you can use that to advertise to other people (NorCal, etc) and invite them to chat with the coolest people that hang out South of the 8.

For future reference:

- You can learn to register your nick by typing /ns help register.
- You can change your nick by using /nick [thisnickisdumb] [ifyouregisteredthenputthepasshere].
- To perform Actions, use /me. "/me is helpful." is displayed as "* JaggerG is helpful."
- In mIRC, you can also use ctrl+b/u/k#/r/o to make bold/underlined/color/reversed color/original style text respectively, but please don't. It gets annoying if done excessively.

Here we go, quick OS X tutorial for anyone braindead enough to not be able to figure it out on their own (it's Mac, it's simple!)
Colloquy IRC Installation and Setup Guide
Step I: Acquire Colloquy from theDownload Page on the their site.
Step 2: Extract (double-click) and place the application into the Applications folder. It should be under Macintosh HD -> Applications, and it may also be in your "Places" list in the Finder sidebar. Once there, you can also drag it onto your dock for ease of access.
Step C: Setup the connection by opening the New Connection window, and filling out the Nickname (your nick) and Chat Server (irc.webchat.org) fields. Then expand the Details menu, and add a new room to automatically join (#SanDiegoSmash). You may also want to change the Username/Real Name fields if they were automatically populated for you.
Step optional: You can "fave" the server by checking the checkbox next to it on the Connections window. This will make it so that you're automatically signed into this server when you start Colloquy.
Step Fin: Connect to the server and go chat! After all this is set up, it'll be just like any other IRC client. You may want to throw away the .zip file you downloaded, as it's just clutter now.

I've been buying MDA shamrocks and putting SD Smash as the name. I also thought it would be cool if Pat switched to Brawl, but reconsidered due to the fact that he's a strong part of the Melee community for So Cal.
