We Might As Well Bring Everything Back

Hey guys. Hall here. We need to talk.

I know the core members of us have migrated to facebook and for organizational purposes that's fine. However in reminding America that San Diego is still a strong and active region we need to reach out to every angle. We need to band together as a community not just to promote personal growth but to continue adding and developing new players. Since most of our coordinating occurs over the phone I recommend using this thread to promote smashfests and tournaments. Also to archive videos and any relevant information to SD Smash.

So with that said...TOURNAMENT INFO

At last! San Diego celebrates the growth of its scene with an awesome tournament that will welcome new players, and challenge returning veterans alike!

Also, because San Diego LOVES having fun above all else, here are some bonuses for our players:

- For the individual player that beats THE MOST SAN DIEGO players in singles will receive a $20 prize/bonus. To show you who our San Diego players are, they will all be wearing button or stickers. Every time you beat one of them, you will collect their button or sticker. DEFEND US, SAN DIEGO!

- For the three San Diego players that place the highest, a bonus of $20, $10, $5 respectively!

Time: 11am - 11pm (This is enforced.)
Venue Fee for all entrants: $3

If it's 5 days apart does it count as double posting?

Wii's repaired and schedules opened. We are back on track for regular smashfests. We have members from Chula Vista to Escondido down for playing

If a user double posts but the posts are over 24 hours apart, it's considered a bump and not a double post. :)

Can't wait until the Gauntlet? Mexico has their very own tournament series in Tijuana. The next event will be April 1st this coming Sunday. San Diegans attending usually catch a cab from the border to the venue for around $5.

Interested in attending? Let us know so we can fill you in

Most tournaments the San Diego people attend are in the LA area or in Tijuana. San Diego hasn't had a tournament since like April but every now and then people have smash fests to get together and play casually or to practice for tournaments.

Also, I personally happen to like this site but local players seem to prefer Allisbrawl over this forum so if you wanna get in touch with someone who is actively playing you can hit them up through that site. If you're too lazy to make an allisbrawl account you can look for the San Diego Brawl group on Facebook. It's a moderated group but I'm sure the owner will let you in if you really wanna play.
