Don't know any names of his moves, but Abel's bread and butter is ridiculous. The command throw, rising elbow to shoulder throw combo and Breathless(I think) are (or at least were pre-nerf) beasts.

I always thought the tag style was kinda cool, having fiddled with it in Soul Calibur 2 - especially since the story in Soul Calibur is tailored towards groups of three people. I thought they should have a tag mode where a different person controls one of the characters so it's actually thee-on-three (or two-on-two), and I'm guessing the regular tag mode in SF x Tekken might have it.

The point is to compile all the TIO files, and with enough data accurate ELO rankings can be made about players. This can then be used to seed national tournaments really easily and fairly, as well as help with things like Power Rankings and Local/Regional Seedings.

just noticed the thing must have been flooded with old school results, ****in bloodofthefallen sittin over 7000 i didnt know they even had tio when that dude was playing

allisbrawl still has all this stuff, this could actually be a really big database like allisbrawl used to be with rivals and stuff but hopefully better cause it has the ratings and skips the social network

So how is that a bad idea?
More accurate seeding, and to be able to look at your tournament as well as head to head history with any player seems like a good idea to me.

As for the point system: its not really working right now :awesome:

there are a bunch of things it is *supposed* to do (like, say, calculate points chronologically) that it doesn't actually do yet. Were fixing it, but for the time being the ELO numbers don't really mean much.

Chris, why aren't you willing to upload your files?

then upload what you got. I know he uses TIO for at least some of them. Personally, I don't delete my TIO files, they take up like 1kb each so the size is unnoticeable.

Does it matter if pool results are entered into tio? In MI we always use a Google Docs to manually display pools, then look at a comprehensive list of 1st/2nd/3rd/4th seeds and manually create the bracket in tio afterwards. Entering pool results into tio is possibly the worst thing ever.

whats wrong with putting pools into tio? ive never encountered problems so long as you manually check the ties out, which you'd have to do with a google doc anyway
