Luigi does have a few broken seeming things. Just ask Olimars lol.

His Nair is the god aerial. That thing is the reason there are no combos in brawl.
His recovery is gimpable but still amazing.
His kill power is ********. Simple as that.

But he gets gayed (DDD's infinite) and he has some flaws that are hard to exploit yet still exploitable. Just think of a harder to play Game and Watch.

I did play BigLou with PT one game. I got gimped at about 25% in the very beginning and had to pick up the slack, which proved to be too much.

Fox is fun, and he happens to be a fairly effective character. Not quite sure how far this is going to go.

I haven't seriously practiced in months. I've been...busy. I tried to practice more in the last week, and I did worse than normal, XD.

's never really been a "bring this character up a tier" idea. Honestly, I don't think I'm good enough right now to do that, even if I wanted to.

However, I have plenty of time to fix that now. Hopefully I can start winning notable tournaments again. Neat new tricks for Squirtle I need to learn, and I really need to stick to a smaller group of characters.

YoshQ is pretty legit. He tore me up pretty bad in pools in October. I think he just recently beat Ally in a mm too. He barely pulled it off though.

ally sandbags in mm's, hard. I almost beat him in one last time we played and yoshQ hasn't ever beat my snake in tourney setting except the very first time we played in pools where....I didn't even use snake which was months ago anyways. I think I'm like 4-0 with him ~_~

but ya he's pretty good, probably the only good one in the midwest I guess

Playing against a good player does not make the character better.

i dont know why people seem to believe that luigi is a certain tier because boss plays them or whoever. Thats like Ally saying that CF isnt bottom tier because of that one set with Doc.

now if you have like 5 different dudes in different regions all playing luigi and doing well thats a different story but just saying, "OMGZ LUIGI ISNT BAD! PLAY BIGLOU!" Is a stupid mentallity, because there are players that you can do that for for just about every character.

As I said, 3 different Luigis in 3 different regions (even if they are all in EC) doesn't constitute that the character is underrated?

EDIT: Same rules apply to Culex and Ally's Falcon.

Some MW tournies pay out to 5th.
It's a pretty good system actually.

MK was not banned. OS/Kel just decided not to use MK in singles.

OS/Kel did go double MK in doubles.

Top 5 payout is basically standard at ALL Ohio tournaments and most MW tournaments. Since this system started the MW has been the only region to see GROWTH over the last year in tournament attendance/frequency. I would recommended TO's everywhere payout top 5 regardless of the size of the event (I mean if its like 8 people maybe not but anything over 13 or so it great.

Blue Rogue has gotten 2nd at like every tournament for 3 months straight. Last week he got second losing to Judge but beating Lain (who took 3rd). The two tournaments before that he got 2nd losing only to Mew2King (both tournaments, though he did lose in winners to capem once but he came back and 3-0'd capem in losers finals before fighting m2k again in grand finals). His Wario is the **** and this is the first time I managed to beat him since last September, so I was quite happy about that.
