This is the current Sonic match-up chart, different from the one on the OP of the thread because mine's updated as the OP is on holiday atm.

LIES. We have it has 9-1 advantage since Ness can use down tilt and beat Sonic. True, all true.

K, let me see for a second.

Yoshi and Lucas have agreed on 6:4 Yoshi's Favour.

Falco has agreed on 6:4 Falco against Yoshi for now, but it's due to change.

Mario vs Yoshi is Neutral

We no longer think Yoshi vs ROB is disadvantaged, and we no longer believe we have a solid advantage on Olimar, though when I told you Olimar's, most of you disagree....

1. It doesn't at all say Kirby is disadvantage to Sheik. In fact it's the opposite

2. The chart is just a collections of each character forums matchup threads. If you have a problem with it, then talk it over with them, not here.

Sheik boards have ganondorf listed as 90:10 sheik's favour.
Ganondorf Boards have sheik listed as 95:05 sheik's favour.

I'm pretty sure that, despite the fact it's not technically agreed upon, it's pretty certain what to put :chuckle: though you might have to make up a new colour for it

DanGR, is it possible to add another category of symbols for blow out matchups (like stars and red Xs)?

We're going to need those for D3 infinite victims, Pika/Fox, and other LOL matchups.

Well, if black was a blow-out disadvantage, then white would be the opposite right?

White won't fit well with the the blank spaces in the chart though.

No, that would just make things way too busy - the pure colors are best - as simple as possible for a 39 X 39 grid or whatever it is can be...

I laughed at the Ness vs Meta Match up. Due to how wrong it is and the fact that the match up was never really ever discussed.

The match up with Ness vs. Meta is that we lose in Limbo but we are about the same size as meta when we crouch so I think PKNintendo it should be more like 55-45 Meta in limbo

Well, maybe we should redo it. I freaked, I assumed everyone had 3-7 MK, and I thought he was impossible. But what could I do? Only 2 MK mains contributed, with no matchup numbers. We we're ignored.

Very well Ref, we shall do MK next.

Chop, chop, kids! Let's get this beast going. I'm done with my chart for the forseeable future so I'm hoping that this get's finished sometime soon. I notice that the Lucas section is as populated with match-up data about as much as Lucas populates first place...

we can only go as fast as the character boards do... and that's only when the charcter boards agree.

Is there something we could discuss to naturally bump this thread?

I'm still not sure what color to do for the nearly impossible matchups such as DDD v DK or Pikachu v Fox.

Shouldn't this chart be like...equal opposite over the diagnal dividing line?

You could do a Red X and a green A for the nigh impossible match ups


Or if it's easier to do color's maybe Silver/Black with Advantage/Disadvantage respectively?

O and with like some gradient in the silver ^.^

I didn't bother adding yellow to those matchups. I will when it's near completion to give it a more full look.

I've already got a silver/light blue gradient in there so I can't use Silver as one of the colors.

Sheik's chart is confusing as ****, but I think it says they are at the advantage against Sonic, which we agree with.

That's all for now. People don't really bother doing Sonic matchups because Sonic sucks and blatently isn't worth the time.
