CFalcon players using DK

I just notice that a couple of the CFalcon players out there are pretty solid with DK. I can kinda understand that since when you come to think of it, DK is pretty much a "low tier" CFalcon.

I knew Jona, Big D, and Darkrain use him.

But ****, Jiano knocked Tink out of SMYM using DK, apparently 4stocking him... so.. wth!

Does maining CFalcon give you special DK powers or something?

I guess. Falcon and DK play somewhat similar when you think about it. Most of their combos start from a grab or a down-air, and dashdancing around until you find an opening is common among DK and Falcon players.

I also think another factor is that DK used to be second best of low Tier for a long time. A lot of people didn't like Luigi but liked DK so they picked him up as their low-tier main. Darkrain did this.

Ah yeah, I really like DK and Falcon in Melee. They honestly do have a quite a lot in common gameplay-wise. I guess that's what links Falcon players to DK players (or even vice-versa).

Same here Hax, I was just about to blow on my screen and I went like.. "haha 'course"

Well the only direct link to me would be the "I need a opening" type of play style, you can't rush in with DK because of his ridiculous hitbox and bad shield.. of course CF got more speed and variety to even it out somewhat.. but you surely get my point..

i think its because they are played in the same fashion:dk and captain both have horizontal recovery, their both better setups are with grabs,they both have a pop the shiit outta u punch,and they both are the manliest characters out there XD

wow thats weird i actually played dk before i even liked falcon's playstyle now i love it.. i completely gave up on dk and main falcon now lol... thats weird that u brought that up and that so many people use/used both..

Dk and Captain both attract our "manliness" in us...

They are the manliest.

And it always feels good to **** *** with falcon and DK...soo good.

- amazingly useful throws

yeah, not the DK boards either, but this is a comparison thread. Ganon and Falcon have many things in common as well.

Doesnt that criteria apply to Ganon also?

So, still no love for Ganon? :( I'm in the middle of picking up falcon right now, been actually considering swapping my main over to him, though i'll still always play the biggest G

yeah i know this is a comparison thread but was falcon to dk(tho i would like a ganon to captain for the lulz XD)

and yeah you could say they have much in common... or you could say GANON OS A COPY OF FALCON just with nerfed speed insane strenght bad jumping and without THE KNEE

veredict;ganon is good but falcon is the BEST

it was true! i was fooling around playing random chars on my friends house and i got dk,i played him like 5 mins and it felt so f*cking natural playing him XD
