I only got better by playing with people better than me. When I first started all my friends were almost as good as I am now and I just hit the ground running. They never went easy on me and over the course of a year I got better and now can easily keep up with and beat some of em.

And then the best sniper I know says he got good by practicing quickscoping the plant pots on Favela. Sounds ridiculous but it must've worked on him since he's incredible.

Lmfao, I love the hate mail I get from this game. Dude sent me 5 voice messages within 10 minutes ranting about me beating him with the Famas in FFA and how I was "camping." Seriously, people are so unoriginal with their complaining.

Got a PVR last Friday but it didn't come with the software, so of course, I have to go back to best buy and get one that does. Is nothing easy these days?

From what we did play today, it was good. It's rare to find a game where there isn't a severe amount of tubing and what have you.

This game is almost totally unplayable, which is a shame because I just got my PVR and everything setup. Every time I try and get a good FFA game someone is being a douche and tubing, or everybody is just camping with scavenger/claymores because that's the really cool thing to do in that game from what I can see.

I don't even attempt to play domination anymore, it's pretty much a joke. I went 12-10 in a game of salvage domination last night, and 9 of my deaths were tubes/knifes/killstreaks. Also, the only death I got from someone shooting me with a gun was a sniper that was quickscoping (lolbad12yearoldkids).

I LOVE barebones in MW2. No KS, and I tend to do pretty well in that gametype for some reason.

Eh, as annoying as quickscoping is, you can just dropshot a quickscoper, or hipfire while moving side to side, usually works pretty well.

If you're playing a bad player. Most players are bad at it.
Get at Mad, he is really good and he doesn't act like a ballerina.
Also, for future reference, drop shotting makes Quickscoping easier for me personally, because it gives me a longer target and less hitmarkers.

with dropshotting you might be right, but there's still hip-fire. I also find that shotguns are particularly effective.

I definitely agree that in most cases, shotguns keep Quickscoping in check.
Especially the Spas. That thing is better at sniping than the intervention ._.

If I see somebody quickscoping I just jump....it works like 90% of the time. Try hitting someone who just strafed/jumped simultaneously with a sniper and getting a one shot, it's so irritating.

That's weird, I actually prefer playing Domination over TDM recently. For some reason, the TDM games I payed not too long ago felt way too campy for the gametype, while Domination I do amazing just running around like crazy either knifing people or with a spas.

This game in general is easily turned to **** in any gametype simply by the people in the lobby you're currently in. You could just be getting lucky lately. Some days I have an amazing time in TDM, while others, I find it's full of *******s.

I can really only stand FFA and it's the only game mode I find enjoyable. People camp, but it's not near as bad as a game of domination. Plus, I don't have to deal with moronic teammates sitting ADS behind a box or being totally stationary waiting to tube someone.

MW2 FFAs with the famas is the only thing I find enjoyable in regards to any CoD games to this day....and that's saying a lot about CoD. They help out the mentally handicapped children who play these games way too much (coughpainkillerpanicknifingtubesshotgunscough). Why can't we all just shoot each other with real guns, is that too difficult?
