GLITCH!!!! I was recovering with fox's up b when mario cape'd me on the ledge. I got stuck in the wall for a second, and then warped through and was on the stage. O_o
Glitch was in vBrawl too.

Anyway, I'd like to also confirm that yes...some of the frame speed changes don't seem to be working correctly. It doesn't seem to be a formatting issue...is it? Almas made the new engine follow the exact same format as the old one.

But stuff like Marth's utilt speed doesn't work, yet DB slowdown and throw animation do.

Let's poke through that .txt shall we? <.<

Seems to be a bunch of C's in the Data Index...don't remember Almas posting the index with that...

then again I don't even know what the Data Index does exactly. =/

But he also dies like a fly. His defensive options have grown weaker and he is more focused toward outputting offensive.

Which is kinda cool, since in Brawl, you can see some characteristics of Roy merged into Melee Marth to create Brawl Marth.

So we're still following suit by making Marth more glassy...

You mean the one where his back snaps to the "ledge" inside of the stage? Didn't that happen to a few other characters too?


You could probably edit them into the pac yourself somehow, but they wouldn't be tourney legal.
I have a second SD card for fun stuff (they're about five bucks) so I'm good. Problem is, ASH currently won't work for me even though I have all the components.

It's not just vs. Fox, it's against everyone. Mario literally has to time the cape frame perfect to get it. He deserves it if he can land it.

Yes... and it's not a "huge bug" that needs to be fixed because it is just a glitch from Brawl, there's no real way to continually perform it (is there?) I really don't believe it's anything to fix because the opponent will just usually roll onto the stage or something. If anything, it is a bad side effect when you mistime a cape or something.

Besides, how would you fix something like that anyway?

The data index includes what its supposed to. What bugs are there to report with the animation engine, if any? I have been away all day and won't be available at my main computer till the end of the weekend.

With that said, any or most WBR members have access to edit the text on the website to remove the weird A from the text and re-upload it. Its not just solely in my hands, I gave everyone editorial permission for a reason.

Certain frame speed modifications don't seem to work even though they're in it.

Prime example is Marth's Utilt. It's in the .txt but doesn't activate.

I also hear from jiang and a few others that Ike's Side-B speed-up no longer works as well.

Also:

Fox's JC shine can be activated on the ground with the stick ONLY if Tap Jump is on.

But if activated from the air, the stick can be used to JC REGARDLESS of Tap Jump settings.

I'd appreciate it if anyone can see if only frame 5 of DS is invincible now, thanks. <_<

Wait wait wait, you nerfed Link? D: Though I guess it avoids making Link too easy, it's still nerfing a character who is far from being the best.

srsly if you're gonna melee marth at least do it right. don't nerf every single god**** attack then give him **** gravity that screws over his SH double Fair. And his edgegaurd. (The core of marth.) And if you're going to make him drop like bricks at least make him able to combo into a tilt or something or give him a sourspot spike so he can finish without a tipper. /rage

melee CF is melee.

Well, I like how he is. Instead of SH double F-Airing all the time we can also combo SH, F-Air, U-Air, U-Tilt, then U-Air tipper. An effective damage racker. Oh, and try more N-Air, that stuff KO's.

Please don't :( Ganon didn't even need to u-tilt buff.

Can we work a little on DDD? I think I agree with Matt now that some buffs are in order. He's okay, but I'd say he's towards the bottom of the pack. Even Turbo, who handles him really well, can't hide that DDD gets owned by a lot of the cast... but I'm not sure what to suggest to fix it.

I dunno, I've been talking to some people and giving people "buffs" should be less about larger / stronger / more hitboxes and more about creative ways to give them a boost.

Aka, Lucario's up-B. Or my suggestion about Ike's side-b.

I don't think the buff Ike needs is a gateway into his jab combo.

You are just trying to start an argument now. Let me rephrase my last post.

I don't think that the buff you suggested is a good idea because it would just be a set-up for the jab combo that Ike already has. It would not improve him significantly, but it might make him over-reliant on his jab combo.

Not to mention that Ike's grounded side-b doesn't need improved.

Anybody else having trouble with JC shines? Mine doesnt work at all, even with tap jump on.
did you install the PAC files for fox?

I still prefer his old Shine,witch at least can Shine Spike,even if it was weak,still was effective.
I think it is still too weak for a trade off with his Dair Nerf.
Its a good change,but some people(like me) play with Tap Jump Off,and to use his JC Shine you need Tap Jump On.

Also,for Marth changes....Oh Yeah baby,now thats zexy
Ganon Grab buff IS AMAZING,thx.I liked the new Physics.
Finally Samus had at least a pummel o/,nice.
And what was the change on Falcon Side-B change?

lol,no. You don't need tap jump on to JC shine,lol. Kuga,have you not played Melee? Overall the JC shine is amazing,and I believe it will play a good part into making Fox a deeper,better,and more fun character.
