It can do that in vBrawl actually (though extremely hard to space and time properly, so maybe that is changed).

Also I seem to have misplaced my SD card -_-

Thesage, I just recorded a few matches between my Ness and Minus's Kirby...I can put the replays on megaupload? Could you upload some?

If anyone wants to see an AMAZING kirby (and my ness)...

Well, I'm slowly working on the guide lol. Why don't we discuss matchups?

Go with the first one suggested (that isn't Lucas).

Oh yeah Wario.

I'm here are some idea's.
Originally was a difficult opponent. He could gimp you, Fart on your predictable recovery and deal with Ness with relative ease.

In Brawl +, Ness was greatly buffed... But Wario is still a tough opponent.
Wario's not easy to combo either. He's heavy, and has a good recovery, a deadly combo. His aerial mobility is second to none. (overall) And he kills Ness relatively early.

I can't really see this being in Ness' favor or being even.

Speaking of Psi Magnet, what are everyone's thoughts on it? Should it be kept, or swapped out for something else?

I like it. It's like an aerial way of saying, get the **** back when someone tries to edgeguard you. It's not a great gimper for Ness tho.

Now about the bat...smaller but stronger sweetspot?

I am fan of the new psi magnet.
And smaller hit box for a stronger bat is a huge debate.

Its strong but lacks knockback. But the range makes landing sweet spot (and landing it period)
is much more awesome.

Most people never had trouble hitting with the bat before, they just wanted a KB boost.

I support the stronger, yet smaller bat.

Only good move? Surely you jest.

Also, if the psi magnet is what's making you play ness, did you ever play ness before the psi magnet? Just wondering.

PSI magnet defines Ness. It's his signature move.
If you change it, you are destroying the Ness we all know and love.

p.s. it's by far his most broken move. It may be the MOST broken move in the game.

Yeah Psi magnet is the new Ness fad.

It's broken and can swing matchups around easily.

Why it wasn't broken in vBrawl

Wind effect was largely ineffectual, and the hitbox was smaller.

Also, Ness didn't have SA for the startup of the magnet.

And I'm not fond of the term fad. It implies that while the magnet is useful now, it will eventually be worked around and no longer considered a threat, at least that is what the word implies.

Now that is fact.

Eating a Snake dash attack and pushing him off the edge with the Magnet into a spike must be how all Smash moves work in heaven. >_>

I love the Magnet.

I'm slowly updating the guide. You can see some progress in the first post. I hope to be finished by next weekend.

I'm using the 7/21 codeset and I noticed that if you double jump close to the ground, ness kindof enters an airdodge state.

If it was there in vbrawl I never noticed it.

So far its cost me two matches.

Have any of you guys heard of it?
