I was experimenting with that the other day. The D-pad worked but none of the other buttons did. I really didn't try that hard as it was just something I was messing with while making a different code. Are there any codes that allow you to control your character with the dpad on the Gamecube controller, as the Wii remote control scheme does?
On todo list.Spunit, I really hope that's something you pursue. I think learning to play on the d-pad could be really interesting for everyone. Personally I am very interested because I've got my Wii running in my arcade cabinet, and it would be really nice to use the joystick and buttons to play Brawl. I imagine there are plenty of other people that wouldn't mind using a joystick too.
No. I made sure that you couldn't.Would the hold shield for Giga and company or the Giga and company in random code allow you to pick them on Wi-fi? As much as I hate hackers who hack to cheat and am happy none of that has happened yet on Brawl Wi-Fi being one of them would be a good way to freak out people on With Anyone.
Did you happen to notice if the dpad functioned like an analog stick or like the Wii remote's dpad? (regarding double tapping to fall through floors and run). Thanks, spunit!I was experimenting with that the other day. The D-pad worked but none of the other buttons did. I really didn't try that hard as it was just something I was messing with while making a different code.
Oh yeah. I forgot you're a hacker who wants a good rep. That isn't meant offend anyone. Dexter0 has gotten so much hate for releasing the Wi-Fi item modifiers in MKW. I'm guessing CSS modifier also doesn't work on online. On todo list.
No. I made sure that you couldn't.
I'm not sure if this has been posted, but I'm gonna give it a shot.
Does anyone have the list of values for the "My Music" modifier codes with the actual names of the stages beside them? AFAIK, I need to find the values myself and subtract it by 1 and multiply by 8. I could do this, but I'm doing a MAJOR reconstruction of the music here. It would take forever to do this formula over and over, and have to constantly guess if I'm getting the right song when I choose a value.
Thanks in advance!

i think thats because once it picks a host that person stays the host till they drop out of the group. and it will only be able to use your stage code if you're host.Sorry for posting again, but I just realized, if you a pick a stage that freezes the game, doesn't that mean the online stage modifier can freeze other people's Wii if that stage is picked? Not really sure if that's really a problem because instead of the chances of my stage being picked being 1/4, it's 1/9001. I've been in a taunt party for four hours hoping to freak people out by picking Result screen but it never got picked in that room. It did in other rooms. Seriously, it rarely picks my hacked stages. <_<
028 + (5 - 1) * 8.I dont understand how your suppose to find the value for my music code for the first part.
XXXX = Stage Offset + (Song # - 1) * 8
YYYY = Song to Replace with
Ok so for the YYYY you would simply put for example 27DC for Battle Scene / Final Boss (Golden Sun).
So that makes sense.. but for the XXXX I don't get it.. ok so if i want to do final destination lets say..
the value offset for that is +028. Lets say I want to change the 5th song to the Song metioned above. How do I do this, I sat here for a while and tryed to figure it but i just dont get it.
This is the code btw
4A000000 9017EBCC
1400XXXX 0000YYYY
E0000000 80008000
thanks for any help on this..
and when i change this music will screw up my wifi?
Your math is wrong, you must not be using a hex calc.Okay, I got "Encounter" to work on Battlefield:
4A000000 9017EBCC
14000000 000027E3
E0000000 80008000
Now, I'm trying to put "Bramble Blast" on Smashville. However, it's not working. This is the code I have:
4A000000 9017EBCC
14005700 0000272E
E0000000 80008000
272E is Bramble Blast. There's obviously something wrong with the 5700, which is supposed to be song 1 on Smashville.
570 + (1-1) * 8
570 + 0 *8
= 570
I'm obviously doing something wrong. Please help!
if thats right you should probably put parenthesis in the formula like this:Your math is wrong, you must not be using a hex calc.
This is what I got:
570 + (1-1) * 8
570 + 0 * 8 (I solved the parentheses first)
570 * 8 (Ignore the zero as you're adding it to 570, as such, it stays 570)
= 9C90
Hope that's correct. Try it out.
No (respectable) hacker would release codes like that. It might be a jerk with a USBgecko that made his own code.http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=214784
Someone claims that the scores at the end of a battle were hacked. Is there such a code that exists? Someone also said the ended up in a battle with someone with Bunny Hood and invisibility. Do these codes exist or are those people liars?

I would like to both thank you for your speedy reply and for all the codes you have provided for the hacking community. You should be proud of your accomplishments. In response to your answer about the item spawn, thank you for your answer, but I would prefer to understand why I am supposed to insert that in the Y slot. The Y (from my understanding) makes the code generic and by providing me one solution for the code you made it specific. Could you explain what else can go in Y and what it means? Thanks!

Can you post the code.Another question: I cant seem to make item switcher codes work past 2 items. Say I want to switch bananas w mr saturns, green shells w red shells, and snakes box w a Franklin badge (just a random example). What would the code be? I thought it would be 3 items, + 3 so Z = 6 This wont work. Please help!
Edit: It is called item mod not switcher. I am using the "True Item Mod" by PhantomWings
Edit 2: Ok so I brute forced it and found out it was 7 for 3 items, 5 for 2 items, and 3 for 1. It seems to me z is not X + 3 but rather 2x + 1.
yeah thats right in your second edit. it should actually just be the # of lines of code after that specific line that has the Z. since each item switch is another 2 lines, then you just add 2 to Z for each extra item switch.Another question: I cant seem to make item switcher codes work past 2 items.
