Which one? There's two.Uhh....Can I get an in depth explanation on how to use the music modifier?
Can others hear this? I tried it out a few times with no hints it works other than this one Yoshi crouching to Final Destination's theme. Also, if another person is using the music modifier, what will happen? I ended up in a room with Emerald Hill Zone playing on every stage and was too scared to try changing it.The My Music code causes disconnects online, so don't bother with that if you play wifi. This code is way better:

Replace the Y's with one of the buttons below and replace the X's with the song's number. Holding that button while a stage loads will play that song.

With this code, holding left on the d-pad while a stage is loading will play Bramble Blast. You can set a song to each button and even do button combinations too like L+R or L+R+B+A.

yes they can hear it, and it will only play yours if you are the host. if it was playing someone else's music mod then that means they were host and you would have to wait till that person dropped out before yours would work.Can others hear this? The regular Music Modifier is easier. My Music Modifier is a bit complicated and can mess up your My Music if you do it wrong (although it is easily fixed by a My Music reset code).Which one is easier/better?

Hello. I just heard yesterday about modifying the music in brawl to have custom music. I've been searching all day on google and the Smashboards search feature. Can someone point me to information on how to do this? I have a mod chip.HBC will not get you custom music, you need a modchip.
What codes are you using?Homebrew channel, have it but makes Brawl freeze a lot....
Just download Gecko OS 1.07b.dol from here. Put it into the apps folder and start her up. No GCN Memory cards in the slots either.I did this and did as the readmes instructed, but I'm still getting the same result. Do I just suck, or am I missing something?

Do note that it won't change the actual music. I just muted the music, and added the background music afterwards.
By the way, if you do it this way, you'll get better results, since I screwed some things up.
He has to do ISO hacking if he wants to REALLY do any custom music. Which, isn't dealt with here, GSC, OR the wiird forums. He will have to look elsewhere.GaryCXjk has a tutorial something like that...

yeah thats what im trying to do (fun games!!!). although it was kinda wierd, the only 'aerial damage' status thing i couldnt get to activate at all, and all the other ones would activate from just a jab or two, but not from the spikes.I see what you mean though, I could make a bunch of fun minigames with that code......

well the code i was messing with is this:I know there are 3 different types of hitstun animations. I remember seeing some old thread about it..... They have ridiculous names, if that helps you remember them. (Like BLAAWWAHG or something)
Can you die from getting shot by a Ray Gun or something? Assist Trophies? That'll be good enough for me. Oh and I can't find the values for the hitstun animation. Can you post it plz?

Spikes have set knockback. Meaning, they always make you go the same distance. Why not just use the damage ratio modifier?all right, im wondering if a code exists at all that makes it so taking any damage at all instantly kills you. preferably it would be just touching spikes kills you but i doubt something that specific exists yet. i was messing around with the 'player action modifier' code yesterday but no matter what type of 'damage taken' i put in, touching spikes wouldnt activate it. and i havent seen a code anywhere that makes you die from taking any damage. help?

It shouldn't interfere with the My Music selection settings at all HOWEVER! I recommend looking at the My Music page with JUST the Custom Stage Select screen code on and see if it changes the My Music page at all. If it does not, then, you shouldn't have to worry (and I don't believe you'd have to worry even if it DID affect the my music page).One more question: I've successfully set up the My Music modifier and I'm in the process of creating a custom Stage Select Screen. Will moving around and eliminating some of the stages around on that screen screw up the music? Or will the Wii know how to map the correct music to the correct stage regardless of its position on the stage select screen?

There it is! I knew there were three types of hitstun animations. Maybe if you can combine these values, it will work for any kind of hit/damage..... Does anyone know if we can combine these values and make it work for any kind of damage animation?well the code i was messing with is this:
