This looks really cool! Here's something I threw together, just to add a bit of visual spice.
Don't got a cam or anything on me but here's a mock up of how it looks.
Made sure to test it a bunch of times on my 3.2U NTSC Wii, but be sure to have bootmii or something just in case.
For use with original disk:
- Brawl+ Channel w/ Gecko 1.9.2b
- Brawl+ Channel w/ Gecko 1.9.3
For use with other methods:
- DVD backup Launcher Autoboot Ocarina
- USB Brawl+ Loader for NTSC Wii & NTSC Game
- SD Brawl+ Loader for NTSC Wii & NTSC Game
PAL (Didn't test these as I don't have a PAL Wii.)
- USB Brawl+ Loader for PAL Wii & NTSC Game
- SD Brawl+ Loader for PAL Wii & NTSC Game
god, if you're afraid of bricking then get bootmii, otherwise grow a pair and just do it already.Hmm seems very interesting =D
I've got one last question though...
Why doesn't the Original CD Method work with newer versions like 4.0E or 4.1E? Isn't there some way to fix that? =/
Or lemme reformulate it xD
Since I can install WAD files (such as WiiWare) on my 4.0E Wii, I presume that I can also install the Brawl+ Channel, right? Just want to be absolutely sure before doing this so please reply back or I'll brick my Wii =D
Hmm I see... So this channel thingy basically just loads Gecko OS, means that I can't load NTSC codes with a PAL Brawl Disk (obvious I know, but still xD)... Or are there other functions worth mentioning besides loading Gecko OS?the channel is essentially gecko OS in channel format. it will run any codes that any other gecko can load.
