"Maybe one, maybe two, maybe three'' concerts, he said at a news conference Monday across the street from the construction site.

"The hip-hop mogul paused then added, "I sound like LeBron.'' "

That was the best part after the bench fighting.

Btw, seems like NBA stars are gonna try and assemble a meeting this Friday with the Players Union. Oh shi.

My roots go back to Cali, and even if I do live in Texas, so what?

And have you never seen my sig? LOL
I just hate the Lakers. A lot. The only reason anyone is allowed to be a Laker fan is if they live in LA.

And even then, it's time to hop on the Clippers bandwagon.

Imagine if the Clips didn't trade their pick to Cleveland.

Irving, Griffin, Gordon. Sterling would somehow mess it all up, but still. Would have been a terrifying young team.

How could you hate the Lakers?
They've been so entertaining for a whole decade.
Just look at who they have had on their team...

Kobe Bryant, cheesiest man alive.
Derek Fisher, worst clutch player ever.
Shaq, the man who can jam over any man.
Rick Fox, no description needed. ****ing Rick Fox.
Robert Horry, "HORRY, FOR THREE......OH!!!!!"
Smush Parker, his name is SMUSH. SMUSH.
Kwame Brown, worst number 1 pick from any sport ever.
Ron Artest, Metta World Peace. 'nuff said.
Pau Gasol, ugliest man to ever put on a NBA jersey.
Matt Barnes, the hunchback of Notre Dame.
Mark Madsen, the best mormon dancer in the world.
Lamar Odom, never not stoned.
Luke Walton, worse than most high school players.
Horace Grant, oh those silly silly glasses.
Slava Medvedenko, who really needs to start a band with Vitaly Potapenko.

I could go on for days but.
In short.
Lakers are too good.

LOOOOOOOOL that list was tooo good man

the only one i disagree with is the gasol one. that award goes to steve nash imo O_O

edit: speaking of clippers, I remember seeing this ad in the LA times towards the end of last season. it went something like this:

"griffin and gordon will be clippers for years to come. Get tickets at these prices while you still can."

Nash is like, not even really ugly.

Gasol is derpy as all hell.

The NBA is really just full of awkward lookin' giant men.

For the longest time, Sam Cassel was the ugliest player in the NBA. Freaking alien...I swear to god.

Can't think of anyone off the top of my head...but I'm sure there are uglier players than Gasol.

And we all know Sterling isn't gonna do jack **** with the team...Blake will be gone in a few years :troll:

LMAO TBO you beat me to Sam Cassel. Dang that dude was hard to look at. Underestimated player in his prime though.

Kobe's going to Italy oshii... Good for Italy though the fans must be really excited about now.

lol CableCho you're right, Steve Nash is one fugly human being.

How could I forget about Sam Cassel though? Thank you guys for reminding me. Now I'm imagining Sam Cassels head on Tayshaun Prince's gross upper body on Pau Gasols ugly fat legs.

I just read about that and was about to post it.

For anyone who's wondering what happened, Stern for whatever reason had the tenacity to start rudely pointing at some NBA players while he was talking during the CBA meeting. Wade responded by shouting "You're not pointing your finger at me. I'm not your child."

Have we officially hit rock bottom in terms of the two sides coming to some sort of agreement to end this lockout? :(

Yep. Pierce, Melo, Wade, Baron Davis...bunch of all-star players. Shows how committed they are to getting their season back.

Meanwhile, Kobe is somewhere in Italy.

Things aren't looking good at all tbh. Both sides are looking like they won't budge at all.

I read somewhere that some players went as far as saying they'd rather not have a season than have to deal with some of these owners.

It almost seems as if we need a miracle at this point. :(

Conspiracy theory on how the US economy is gonna collapse soon. NBA players are planning ahead and gonna go play in other countries.

Lol, it would be so weird when the Olympics roll around. See all the star players join together after not being in the same league for years.

This season at this point, better not happen. There's no way they reach a deal in 4 days, and if they don't, Stern said he's cancelling part of the season. I for one, would hate to even watch a FULL season without the proper training camp/pre-season preparation. The first few weeks of the season would be dismal.

^Speak for yourself this season was supposed to be the heat's year.

I want basketball.

:phone:
LOL. I'm a sixers fan. I'm probably the biggest basketball fan on the planet, but I would just hate to see a league that has already taken so much heat (no pun intended) - enter into something that would just be so pitiful, at least in the beginning.

Hockey came back full force after a year off, maybe it's what this league needs to generate a good fan base again.
