Well I asked my sis about the tournament, after explaining my predicament, she literally texted me back with, "Then I think you should drive. Follow your dreams baby, i'll come down after."
I never thought she'd say that to me about a game because she usually hates my large gaming habits with an obsession, so this was really touching for me...
And it means i'll very likely be coming.

Me too just remove the LGL
Kings don't grab edges.
Alternate win condition is to force the opponent to grab the edge.
Then they display they are not kings and they lose instantly.

My brother and I once had a competition where you had to try and kill the other person without damaging them. Footstooling, water/wind and the like were useful in this regard.
i think this idea has an amazing amount of merit.
