ive asked fatal to come to like, every tourney weve ever had. never shows. PA only comes because its only a 4 hour drive, anybody else is 6+

Oh shoot, my bad, im thinking rochester, which is a solid 70 minutes past Syracuse for most everybody. Youre right on that one. but point still stands, most people arent going to be traveling more than 3-4 hours unless its a regional sized tournament with like... 50+ people showing up. at least.

That's true, didn't think about that with such small tourneys. I'm down for playing mana though
Dont think I'm going to ban mk at this event. To late into the thread to change a major feature like that. Besides based on previous events the only people that play MK that attends is Xzax. And id probably consider him more falco. So he has a mk second just like me and neil. No real mk mains and no mk that wins either. Not worth banning him since he is not used that often.
However I do support the mk ban and will ban him for AXS 4.

dont let the fact that san wins the tournaments trick you into thinking that everyone good out here doesnt play mk. if neil/cura/jason actually won when they went mk against him, he would be playing mk too by now.
neil pretty much quit from what i know. I dont use mk anymore (used him twice at best lost both times very convincingly). Dr g went back to dk i heard. I'm probably going all mk/wario and am not using him at axs except for in teams. The only mk will be xzax and pikapika. Probably azeal-bunz. No one uses mk anymore really.

well hes coming to this tournament. I would know as hes my ride. and I just played him last week, and stomped him out and he said he'll probably main mk now since he doesnt practice and pika is too hard. lol
jason will go back to mk as soon as somebody (probably me) beats him hard enough. He only goes 100% dk out of state, where people arent used to his gimmicks.

Youre ignoring my point. What he should do has no bearing on what he does do, which is play mk in tourneys
You dont have to take my opinion in to consideration for your tourneys, but if youre going to discuss this with me, I ask that you at least stay on topic and not jump around the point.

For the record, L-Don doesn't care at all if MK's banned or not. He still mains Marth, although he might use MK if he's not banned.
I quit using MK as a secondary, now I go all Wario, sometimes using G&W or ICs a bit. We're close to neutral, although I'm slightly pro-ban and L-Don's slightly anti-ban.

neils mk is far better than his pika right now. and jasons mk/dk are matchup and player dependant. you dont know what youre talking about.Think your missing the point just because 3 people pocket mk doesn't mean bann him. Even more clearly when my ics are better, Neil pika is better, and jasons dk is better

Sorry I guess I should have said nobody mains MK in our region. Except I guess for Moss, if he's even still around. It's really a silly argument regardless, I was pretty much just trying to point out that our tournaments don't end up with 5+ MK's in the top 8, so MK banned or not banned makes very little difference to us.
Also you can add me to the attendance list Cura, pretty sure I'll be able to make it.

Although this event is over 1 month away, I would like to get a few things out of the way, to avoid last minute crunches.
- I can provide a setup (Wii + TV), is there a reduced fee? Last I saw it was in discussion.
- Do we have anyone else providing setups for sure? If we do it hasn't been updated.
- Who would I talk to about setting my Wii up to be able to do Recording?
- If anyone is ~1hr away and a ride is the only reason they can't come, shoot me a PM or post here, I think we may be able to arrange something.

ive been telling people this since forever.
im always screw up with somethign that wont let me cross the border, but when people ask me how I know KK, raynex and them wont come up here any more, I always tell them this. its because we dont go up there.
