K so I did pretty bad at my tourney. I placed lower then a lot of people I could easily two stock.

I got matched with Zex my second round while he used Marth. That wasn't such a problem considering I took him to his last stock and 90%+ but then he switched to D3 and that didn't go so well.

Right after that, I got Jeepy Sol and he went Wario. I just couldn't get in a KO in on him. He would just approach with SH and just airdodge backwards when he was in any kind of danger. I felt like he could move faster through the air then I could run. (Can he?)

Any advice on on this? I really had a hard time getting a grab or anything. Baiting didn't work because he would only really attack if he was sure I messed up.

It also didn't help that I didn't even want to play him in the first place because he's my doubles partner and he's also in my crew so the whole thing just felt like a lose-lose situation.
