UPDATE AND BUMP:

- Mega Man X5 \ X vs Zero
http://www.filefront.com/17043651/X_vs_Zero.hps

- Mega Man Zero 4 \ Falling Down (suits perfectly in FD).
http://www.filefront.com/17262650/Falling_Down.hps

- Guilty Gear \ No Mercy
http://www.filefront.com/17262718/No_Mercy.hps

- Guilty Gear \ Still in the Dark
http://www.filefront.com/17262833/Still_inthe_Dark.hps

This one was not made by me, but it's better than the one posted earlier, it doesn't freeze the game:

- Guilty Gear \ Holy Orders
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AALMSCOE

I've planned to make these:

- Mega Man X Remix: Beamsabre Beat ZEROv2 (OCRemix)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E82vzha748E

- Magma Dragoon Remix - Betrayal of a Soldier

i have like 5 different ones sitting on my computer however whenever i run the cmd program, for some reason it doesn't make the temp.hps. everything runs perfectly though! it is really annoying

anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: never mind, i figured it out. So here are a couple ones that i'm going to post when i upload them. They are done the lazy way without loops and are just just really long files

Explosive by Bond (Bob$ combo music)
Fighting of the Spirit from Tales of symphonia
Fighting Polygon Team from SSB
Final Destination from SSB
Stainless Steel from OC Remix (there are version of this already in the thread but the volume is really really low)
Stalight Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog

  1. Game Start (V)
  2. Stage Select
  3. Cut Man
  4. Guts Man
  5. Ice Man
  6. Bomb Man
  7. Fire Man
  8. Elec Man
  9. Boss
  10. Stage Clear (V)
  11. Dr Wily UFO (V)

  13. Wily Stage 2
  14. Dr Wily Stage Boss
  15. All Stage Clear (V)
  16. Ending
  17. Game Over (V)

(V) songs are over intended for victory themes and are not fitted to the 14 minute HPS file. Songs not marked with this are the 14 minute hps.
None of these songs are hex-looped. They are 'lazy-method' looped, though, meaning that the song will loop for 14 minutes.

here are my Hps files that i made. THey are all for the 14 minute song format

http://www.mediafire.com/?hj3a777zqmtai
I'm using megaupload just because I'll run out of space quicker on mediafire, though I vastly prefer it.

I'll do Mega Man 3 and have no plans to do any other mega man games in the near future, though I'd like to get to them all eventually. The first three are just the best, music-wise, in my opinion. (Though 9 & 10 are also great)

Also, we should probably make a more active thread (like the archive one like D1 has, but with music) because tichinde isn't around to update.

Some more HPS:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tyeejUBUgc

DL it if you miss the classic tune from Dreamland, but this time improved.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6yH0tOa2Mo

Best suited stage: Brinstar with Magmoor Cavern texture.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E82vzha748E

Best suited stage: Corneria.

i like your way of thinking by putting picking songs to fit different texture hacked stages. and i wish i could help you out with looping the songs using the in game loops. I find it much easier to just loop them yourself for about 10 minutes and then put them into the swm_15min.hps file which holds the audio from the 15 minute movie and then put it on a stage accordingly. The songs sound significantly better when you don't have to worry about using the possible loop points the game has as well

Also Gardevior, you should do mega man network transmission. That has some really good music in it and sticks with your mega man theme

Yeah, that's how I do it, extending the MP3 as much as 14-15 minutes, but with that HPS I wanted the loop because sometimes I left the controller in the stage selection screen, so if 14 minutes pass the sound will stop, not much of a deal but whatever, I was getting a little extremist with that. =P.

More HPS:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKyuJoBSEug

Best suited stage: Rainbow Cruise.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ9YtJC-Kd8

Best suited stage: Kongo Jungle 64 with Monster Island texture.

And let me state some stages I think are the best suited for your HPS:

SSB Porygon Team: Poke Floats.

SSB Final Destination: Ancient Battlefield.

Fighting of the Spirit: PKMN Stadium.

And I don't know which songs are the best for Onett and Yoshi's Story (Neon)..

yeah let's completely ignore all of the help that others have provided!
no one else has done anything for you guys!

it's fairly simple to understand. i made an HPS hacking video guide that explains it. if english isn't your native language, you can still use the guide as a visual component and ask questions here

That's why I didn't jump up and offer to help; I don't know how to hex loops into the song and I would just self-loop it for 14 minutes, and I wasn't sure if you wanted that or not.

Also SleepyK, you're the best.

You change it through GCTool or GCRebuilder. SleepyK has some video/text tutorials linked in the last few posts.

Gardevior, all my HPS are above 13 minutes, I just needed the loop for the Brawl_Remix.hps, but anyway, I've already lost interest in that, thanks and keep sharing.

And Sleepy, yeah, let's ignore all that help, maybe because this is a sharing and REQUESTS thread, I got my reasons to ask that kind of help and I don't have to explain myself to get your attention, your tutorial is there, fine, you have done your work and I congratulate you, but don't expect we all become experts from just that; don't bother with your reply, I don't like to go Off-Topic and this is my last post about this.

Another one:

Some song from Street Fighter 4.. I didn't make but it fits well in Mute City, check this Match:

wat?
I offered help. I don't know exactly what you don't understand about looping your own hex points so I can't help you. If you used the tutorial as a visual component (and point out at what point you become lost at) I could easily help you and make your songs looped.

IDK why you seem so offended (maybe a miscommunication?). Let's sort this out.

iirc garden.hps is the kongo jungle where you fight two small DKs in adventure mode.

Hey, does anyone have the Star Wars Laser sounds, but without that BONK!-sound on the reflector?
I saw some people on youtube who had such a sound clip, so I thought someone here should have it as well.

I would really appreciate if someone could post a link to that sound file ^^"

I made a bunch of tight music loops that fit the game pretty well. I think I'm gonna upload them later :D

I think I'll try to get up a new Music Hub + Request thread up sometime next week, hopefully to inspire more activity. It'll be more organized, more like the Brawl versions of this thread, and also I'm just tired of looking at a title that hasn't been updated since six months ago (and doesn't accurately reflect what is going on in the thread).

Hey guys i've made couple of hps files for the sleepyk modified iso and when i go to test them in dolphin, sometime the music stops a few seconds in or begins to skip (the music will cut out even on an unmodified stage). i don't think its my fault but rather the emulator's. is there a plugin or something to help the rom play the music better? I can tolerate the lag for texture hacks its not a problem when 1 second in game is equivalent to 5+ in reality, but for music its getting bothersome.

also i want to find a recording of (preferably scar) saying (soooo gay) but i'm not sure where to look

the easiest way to test it is to use VGMStream, which plays hps files in popular music players such as winamp or foobar.

its really cool how you rebuilt most of the iso but am i unable to change the audio in the other stages like pokefloats or fourside? cause all of their audio is just the two second sound of getting a trophy.

p.s. i realized you did this to account for space

edit: i downloaded the another iso with more audio capabilities

i think he means the HPS files that were originally on the stages before he may have changed them up. If so, you can just extract them from a raw ISO of the game and replace what you may have changed
