Its much easier for the person hacking the song file if you post the mp3, so then we dont have to go out looking for it. I have the song of storms as my menu and gerudo desert if you want those... IF u give me the mp3 il do it for ya =D

Yeah.. I desperately want Melee with new music, but seriously, I've spend about 40 minutes watching/reading about how this is done and it all seems far too complicated and troublesome, I mean I can make loops from a .wav in audacity, but swapping the .hps files with converted .wavs set to loop a specific way and everything has gotten me too confused.

I would even be happy just downloading a ready made iso with good music, but the key word there is "good", aka music that I actually like, and everyone has different tastes.

Do I have to listen to the Melee soundtrack for the rest of my life? (I know I can turn off music, but people complain since it feels weird playing like that).

Edit: I think I'm getting somewhere, after looking through every tutorial about hacking and finding the music hack tools zip.

Edit2: ok, I've successfully imported a track. I didn't get the loop right, the total secs in 'My_Offsets.txt' didn't match what I had wrote down, and the .wav sounded weird on my pc but you don't notice it so much on the game.

Very tedious to make these and I wish there was a site similar to "brawlcustommusic" with good .hps files, but for now I'm going to see if I can think of the right music to add in, I'd rather not use the same music I already use in Brawl and Project M.

Just curious: If you want to switch the music tracks of two stages, do you just switch their names in the files?

I want to do this with Corneria and Venom (because Corneria's music track is Venom from Super Star Fox, and Venom's music track is the Star Fox 64 main theme and that always bothered me).
