There seems to be a lot going here.Yo, PapaGenos' latest video brought up something I hadn't realized up until now; the day of The Game Awards falls on the anniversary of DOOM.
Plus a lot of people assumed Rex last month due to Monlich's anniversary. Look how that turned out...There seems to be a lot going here.
On the one hand, The Game Awards is an ideal place for a Smash reveal, and if FP1's schedule is anything to go by, We should be able to see something by December or something. I mean, compare the gap between Piranha Plant and Joker with the gap between Min Min and Steve, the time duration just about matches. And speaking of which, a December release after Steve's October release seems like good timing.
But on the other hand, we shouldn't put Anniversaries into account, because in spite of Little Mac's reveal lining up with Punch-Out!!'s anniversary, that one is most likely coincidence. And we all thought last years TGA was gonna have a Smash reveal when nope. Though to that one's credit, Terry had only been out for a month then.
I'd like to argue that that's not the case.Plus a lot of people assumed Rex last month due to Monlich's anniversary. Look how that turned out...
This is nothing more but a coincidence and tin foil theory.
And reminder said interview pretty much deconfirms the character destroying any hope he ever had getting in.
Sakurai Presentations are filmed months ahead, and he said in Byleth's that the choices were finalized. The Fighters' Pass Vol. 2 was probably not finalized until after Byleth
At this rate, it honestly should be. Something like this should have been announced a while ago, the fact it hasn't shows its fake and was modded.Besides, CacoMallow is still up and not disproven yet
Ah, but I'd argue that with the Ken leak: this was no doubt a real picture of Ken in Smash in a real test build, and Nintendo couldn't take it down without invoking the Streisand effect. If Nintendo took down a picture of a tech demo regarding an unrevealed character and everyone thought it was real, it would risk people being even more convinced it was real. And again, I invoke Vergeben's Minecraft claims. Love him or hate him, he said it'd happen, which is more reinforced by the fact Daniel Kaplan, former Minecraft Production Director, said that talks for Steve being in Smash went back to at least 5 years, and considering the lengths Sakurai went to put him in, I can certainly see why. The timing of the leak lines up with the negotiation period, and therefore checks out.At this rate, it honestly should be. Something like this should have been announced a while ago, the fact it hasn't shows its fake and was modded.
Anytime he posts a video with Doomguy in the thumbnail I have a mini heart attack.Yo, PapaGenos' latest video brought up something I hadn't realized up until now; the day of The Game Awards falls on the anniversary of DOOM.
That's what I'm saying. They might reveal him on TGA next month.Yo, PapaGenos' latest video brought up something I hadn't realized up until now; the day of The Game Awards falls on the anniversary of DOOM.
Is it just Gamestop or are we seeing canceled pre-orders from other retail stores?Just a head's up, GameStop has apparently started calling/emailing people about Doom Eternal's Switch port being cancelled. Bethesda's Support team says otherwise, but it feels like something might be up...
Seems like it's just GameStop. GameXplain made a video on it, but there seems to be conflicting evidence. Is it just Gamestop or are we seeing canceled pre-orders from other retail stores?
Doubtful, given that they managed to fit Doom 2016 onto a Switch cartridge (which, I might add, is almost double the filesize of Eternal on PC)They might’ve not been able to fit the game on a cartridge
Doom 2016 barely got a physical release, and Doom Eternal is much bigger.I think people are getting a bit overzealous in referring to the physical release as "cancelled".
I'm betting that it's more than likely delayed compared to anything else.
