if you cg to 30 and do it you get more damage then from a full cg to dair

if they're teching the dair you dont have **** to follow up with anyway

You should be fast falling the dair. Even if they tech, you can up tilt before they down smash

When I do CG to onstage dair, I usually end up with at least 60% dmg. I just read their rolls after the dair with Fsmash.

Can any1 Link me to a Falco/ROB matchup guide, or give a breif description of what to do against ROB as Falco, i hate this macthup so much, although i can do it, its Hard to kill ROB cuz hes a heavyweight, and as we know Falco has a hard time Killing, ROB outranges Falco's attacks too and beats him in close combat, what i tend to do is go for a grab at 0%, 3 grabs from there into a Dair, then fastfall and neutral A, which leaves him on about 50%, from there i build damage up with Lasers, basically spam them all day xD, and i think the best way to kill him is Laser stun to Usmash, is there anything i could add to this to make it alot easier? Also what can i do to punish ROBs Nair when he comes from above?

Velox got to you, nice.

Notes from the Falco Back Room thanks to Velox:

Hey guys! Something really strange happened earlier when I was playing against a CPU falco as snake. I used Snake's Bair against the CPU, and the CPU tried to use shine against me in the air. My Bair hit the Falco CPU, but it did not give the Falco any knockback OR damage. Neither did I get hit by the reflecto. Plus, the Falco completed the shine through it's cooldown time.

So I am a bit confused as to why the Bair would hit, but not do any damage or not do anything at all. My only guess is that some how a glitch occured, or Falco's Shine has certain properties about it that is cross between invicibility frames (for taking no damage) and super armor (for taking no knockback or disrupt the shine) because the Bair clearly took hitlag.
I'm asking watertails to upload the replay of this I saved to give you a clearer picture of what it looks like.

Edit: After looking at the replay like a dozen times, I think I have a possible answer. Just before I hit Falco with a Bair, he had shined my light tossed grenade in the air. So perhaps Falco reflecting something in the air before getting hit in the air gave either a weird glitch or has unique properties. Anyone know anything about this?

When I play, I can D-tilt to Dair to about 60% on my friends, and follow that up with a spike.
D-throw-->Run forward-->Down on Control Stick-->D-tilt-->SH Dair-->D-tilt....RAR Bair-->jump-->spike

Why do I never see anybody using this in tournaments? I've won the only tournament I went to (it was just a small town one) and that combo forms the basis of my Falco.

I think a big part of that is just how laggy Falco's Dtilt is. You're almost always better off going for a chainspike, because there's no real chance for DIing or teching, even if it is more predictable.

Back to the point of this thread. How do I fight Oli and Lucario? I don't have a lot of MU experience vs either and I'm afraid of what'll happen if I come across one.
