What Serebii doesn't know is that leaks normally happen at the factory that the game is being printed at, and that's usually in a place where the person get only enough to get by, can easily get a job even if found out, and are not normally found out.

If this is true then the most likely place the roster will leak is 2ch or a JP forum right after it goes gold in Japan.

There were 25 characters in all in Melee.
Ok, he said one or two won't be returning. We'll just say 23, if Ness really ISN'T returning, and Mewtwo has kicked the bucket.

23 + Newcomers on Dojo MINUS ZSS = 34.

We practically have the whole d@mn roster already.

1 character left, and that MIGHT be the 3rd party.

So I hope this person is wrong, or a LOT of characters are going to be BRAWLing to take that final spot.

I'm afraid of a 35 character roster, because we already have (almost) (assumed) 35 characters.

I totally agree with this post... 35 roster spots would mean the entire roster is almost revealed to us... so between us expecting to see some more suprises in-game only to find out we won't and these delays deflating the excitement, it would really bring the game in with a splat. Might sound kind of silly, but it would really blow the hype and excitement going right now.

Keeping in mind I only really expected 38 characters or so, so my expectations in check, but that would suck in my opinion.

First of all, please don't call us idiots. Second of all, Sheik is obviously not her own space on the character roster, and therefore we do not include her in the 25 character amount for Melee. Also, we do not count Zero Suit Samus, Charizard, Ivysaur or Squirtle in the amount for newcomers in Brawl, as they are a part of one character's moveset.

Guys, honestly we need to drop the 35 characters thing. NyaseNya hasn't proven herself yet, for three reasons:

1. Sonic wasn't hard to predict, at all

2. She predicted the delay MONTHS ago. Do you honestly think at the time she predicted it, Nintendo said to themselves "hey, we're going to delay it another month, but wait until the game is less than a month from release just to piss people off"? For whatever reason Nintendo delayed it(I'm guessing promoting it at GDC, personally), it's EXTREMELY unlikely that they had it planned out way back then. If they had, wouldn't it make sense to just make the delay Mar. 9 in the first place, rather than driving fans insane by teasing them only to delay it again? It was a lucky guess, nothing more.

3. She's been wrong on other things. First off, she said Japan would NOT get another delay. It did. Second, according to a couple posters on here(I don't have a link for this), she claimed that Tom Nook would be playable, AND be a clone of Samus. A clone of Samus? WUT?


She's gotten a couple lucky guesses, none of which were anywhere near as lucky as the Dragoon item. Don't worry about it, we'll all know everything in two weeks anyways.

1) But the precise date of his confirmation was. Nya got it spot-on, and she didn't even like him, and wasn't even aware of the press conference that day.

2) Logical to a degree (technically she told us of the delay early December, little over a month ago, not multiple months ago), but bear in mind we aren't aware of the reasons behind the delay. For all we know it could very well have been decided on that long ago. We simply do not know, either way, so jumping to conclusions there is pointless.

3) She never said anything about whether Japan would get a delay or not - she just said the North American one would. And she never said anything about Nook. As Chronobound said, you're thinking of BlueWave, who admitted to being a fake who simply copied Nya when she predicted Sonic's update and took advantage of the ensuing credibility he received.

Actually, I can. From that list, give me Krystal, Mega Man, and Isaac, and I'd be more than content with Brawl.

The pictures on the right page were on the CoroCoro cards, and it looks like the pictures on the left are just old Shiek pictures. If it was real, I would expect a bigger picture. And if we get, "o i tuk it on my camera fone sori its so small" I think it is 100% fake. Right now, it's like 99.99% fake.

EDIT: I see the bigger version now, but I still have my doubts. Something just looks off to me. But I'm no expert. If we get more scans, I'll be a believer.

It's almost impossible for me to tell, but the kanji for the directional moves looks legit. In fact, all of the pictures look legit--namely the Nayru's Love and Farore's Wind pics, which contain poses as of yet unseen. This could be something big. I mean, if this is from a guide... need I say more?

Look at the Prima leak. No really look: it predicted Sheik and Olimar as next in the sequence for each category. Is that sheer luck? I think not. That roster is the most probable as it is vindicated by two dojo updates and their place in their respective categories (after DeDeDe/Ice Climbers, respectively).

What I don't think is likely is, based on the CoroCoro cards, we can infer that the current characters revealed except Snake & Sonic are starters

If 35 is the thing then we only have 10 or so secret characters and that just doesn't sit right

Actually, it would be more like 15, because Sheik nor ZSS really count, and we're not sure of Olimar's position. Imo, 15 actually sounds right, just not if 9 of them are veterans. It will not make sense if we have way more unlockable veterans than unlockable newcomers. For Melee, we had 11 unlockables, 9 of which were newcomers. I'm guessing if we have 15 unlockables, at least 8 should be newcomers.

This is why I think Nya, ChaosZero, or ShadowXOR are either lying or have faulty info. There's no way all of there info will come true and we only get 3 more Newcomers.

What I don't understand about leakers is their need for attention. Don't get me wrong, I'm an attention ***** myself. But on the internet? I mean Youtube video diaries are pathetic enough but its a step above making a fake name and posting a list of possible characters about a videogame. They were kind of fun to read at first but we have a new prophet every other day now (Which is weird considering, while delayed, the Japan release is not far away)

Oh well whatever, they'll all be deubunked soon enough. If anyone had any real information they'd give us solid evidence anyways, or at the very least they wouldn't pull this mystery bull**** we see everywhere. (I know something but I won't tell!)

EDIT: So, he dug himself into a hole by saying his dad was translating the manual, then changed to the guide, and I pointed out that no one translates guides as a job (each country publishes their own). The thread is closed. But for even more proof, here's what he PM'd me afterwards:
