IF there are only 35 characters in Brawl, the game is a gigantic failure. If there were two giant delays only to put out a roster thats only TEN MORE than the melee roster, they have wasted their time. Oh WOWEE you can collect AND TRADE stickers?! Well I think I would gladly axe 5 characters to be able to do that! There had BETTER be at least 40 characters or Sakurai deserves a swift kick in the crotch.

Hmm. Last time they delayed it, the next update was Sonic. lol. A 3rd party character. The last 7 days of updates have been the best in months. So, maybe we can expect a 3rd party character 2maro. I am saying that if we do it will be either Megaman or Geno.

Ignore him, this guy just has a completely irrational childish disdain for Serebii, despite the fact that many of us tell his bitter *** that he's wrong.
Does anyone not ***** and moan about this game? It's a GAME, it's been delayed, get over it. 35 character is a TON of characters. How many online, massive story mode, and tons of unlockable, fighters do we get?

QFT. All those who look over the 35 characters, say 'meh' and tell how the delays were not worth it are wrong. Look at SSE! That looks amazing. Then there is online play, many more collectibles, there will be more stages, etc. Stop complaining.

I totally agree rusashi, people are getting their hopes up way too much. There's so much new content that has been revealed already, and oh look there's also already a lot more than Melee.
The people do have a point though, in the fact that there are still inevitable additions which still haven't been revealed yet. 35 is indeed a lot though, and considering most, if not every character are unique with Final Smashes and movesets, multiplayer and single player should have a lot of variety.
I can't wait to see the final roster I for one will be satisfied, but so many are after characters like Ridley and Megaman which might not make it in - I for one couldn't care less about Megaman. All these complaints about delays, I bet there'll be loads who get the game after so long then grumble further because one character they really wanted wasn't in - one which really wasn't necessary.
I do admit though, I am for Isaac =P. Capcom? I'd rather having something original. Give me Okami, screw Wolf Link haha.

It's not that it's 35 characters,but that most of the 35 characters could be veterans. It's looking like Wolf, R.O.B., and Lucario could be the only additional newcomers we get. How is that not disappointing?
Luckily, I don't believe they'd do that. I mean, how much sense would it make if we got double the amount of unlockable veterans as unlockable newcomers? That would be completely stupid.

Yeah, even Sakurai does not consider him third party, plus I am sure Nintendo will buy the rights to him sooner or later. Than he can start appearing in the next 50 versions of Mario Party.

There's a very high chance that Sakurai thinks that fans would DISlike the game if it had too many characters, and is being selective because of it. Keep in mind that Melee had a lot of clones. If you count each clone as half a character, that makes Melee's roster look more like 23. If Brawl has 35, would it really be such a cardinal sin?
But I REALLY hope I'm wrong here... just about every fake roster that has 40+ characters has made me salivate....

I remember hearing somewhere that Sakurai said "if Geno got in, he would be first party". I don't know where or if it was true tho. If Geno gets in to Mario Party games...I will so main him. lol. As well as Dry Bones. Ooh, if that is the case, maybe he can join Mario Kart Games too. lol.

What I don't think is likely is, based on the CoroCoro cards, we can infer that the current characters revealed except Snake & Sonic are starters
If 35 is the thing then we only have 10 or so secret characters and that just doesn't sit right

I don't know about the rest of you, but waiting two weeks seems less ridiculous than seeking the credibility of false leakers who basically deconfirm themselves by existing. That's just me though...

Say, Serebii, can you at least tell us if it's a non-Pokemon character that's been derailing these guys, just out of curiousity? I mean, it tells us jack about the whole Mewtwo/Lucario sitch, but at least we know who not to blame as there's so many characters it could be, and barring even that, a character that's NOT on the list.

it would be one of my favorite rosters,,,, if it werent for black shadow,,,,and above all................ dark samus....................
those two,,, speecially dark samus,, is what makes this roster fake.
The secret character he is talking about... im very sure is isaac from golden sun,,,which is just the cherry on the cake in this roster.
Vaati and all the veterans returning with new movesets is pure win.

A roster is NOT fake because it contains characters you dislike. That's a completely selfish and flawed view. Since when does the world revolve around you and your desires? People who label a roster fake because they see something or someone they do not like sounds far more idiotic than the alleged leaker could EVER be. I mean seriously people, have you learned NOTHING from the Melee leak? Dr. Mario! Gannondorf as a Captain Falcon Clone! Young Link! and above all, some flat two dimensional character called Mr. Game and Watch. How completely radical are those?
Face it. The final roster may have completely off the wall character on it. And also, just because you want a character in does not mean they will make it. And ALSO just because you don't think a character should be in Brawl does NOT mean that they will not be in Brawl. If they fit Sakurai's criteria, then they have just as much a shot as any other character. And being unable to think up a move-set for a character merely shows a lack of creativity, which is something Sakurai and his team do NOT suffer from.

I don't understand how you can have a dual-layered Fighting game. It's one thing for a game such as Resident Evil to be 2-discs, but seriously.....What would they do? Put all VS modes on one disc and all SSE, Events, 1-P, and other modes on another disc? That's just cumbersome.

Dual-Layered is NOT 2 disks! It's ONE disk with DOUBLE the space for the game.
What Serebii doesn't know is that leaks normally happen at the factory that the game is being printed at, and that's usually in a place where the person get only enough to get by, can easily get a job even if found out, and are not normally found out.

whats up everyone, thanks for seeing my new post. however on the front page you assumed that wolf and ness are in SSE. i said theyr in the game. i did not say in SSE. they could be trophies or even stickers. the main point is that they arent playable.

The reason why I don't want a 35 character roster? Take this for example then:
There were 25 characters in all in Melee.
Ok, he said one or two won't be returning. We'll just say 23, if Ness really ISN'T returning, and Mewtwo has kicked the bucket.
23 + Newcomers on Dojo MINUS ZSS = 34.
.....
We practically have the whole d@mn roster already.
1 character left, and that MIGHT be the 3rd party.
So I hope this person is wrong, or a LOT of characters are going to be BRAWLing to take that final spot.
RIDLEY! ISAAC! MEGA MAN! KRYSTAL! GENO! DARK SAMUS! ANIMAL CROSSING CHARACTER!
