I do not believe NyaseNya, ShadowXOR has mentioned that it is impossible for anyone outside of the Nintendo big wigs to know the full roster. I believe she did know some stuff, but lied about others. The 35 roster does not make sense since we now have 24 characters, minus the other 10 from Melee that might return; so I do not believe her to be 100% right.

Anyone can tell this guy is not real, especially from the way he's just paraded onto here to show off his blog and stuff, but as I've said, everyone knows by now that you've got to participate in the MOTHER/Starfox debate if you want to get yourself listened to. I'm not going to properly believe what he says, I'm just giving him a helping hand from someone who's seen plenty of leakers in such a short time.

It would be quite a twist if this newbie WAS Serebii, but I thought that even Serebii was a little uncertain of his sources... I doubt he'd want to take such risks if even he knew his information wasn't going to be completely concrete, especially since he's always been debunking everyone else who has had some pretty mixed-up info about Pokemon.

I wish somebody WOULD break the NDA as well, but I guess there's increased stakes with this particular game.

Not really... the way this 'leaker' is working is that he's wanting to make the Smash community think about what he's saying and just figure things out intelligently, so he's intentionally thrown in 3 lies with every single post he makes about Brawl. Apparently the guy has had info from one or two games before so people actually trust him with something silly like this.

Unless he confesses to being a fake first, it's going to take 3 more debunks in that one post cluster the delay statement was in to officially call him a fake. He's clever, to say the very least.

The thing I hate most about these leaker arguments is that it's impossible to provide proof without the Nintendo ninjas tracking you down and giving you some real legal trouble... it's too risky for anybody and their friends. Why nobody ever seems to understand this we'll never know. It's not like we'd ever believe anything anyway, we'd all just assume any photographic it was photoshopped or googled.

As far as leaks go at the moment, all we can go with is personal preference as to what we assume will be in the game... or even comparing them to other liars, but that's just risky especially since most people try to be as consistent as possible now. I kinda like the few things ShadowXOR has said anyway, but I wouldn't take them as truth. You'd have to be a chump to totally believe anybody on the internet like this, no offense.

I do not know how R.O.B. looks. I think some of my friends may have discovered that I'm posting info online because they won't tell me anything else.

They don't really know much more since they were taken off the project months ago but I remember them mentioning how cool R.O.B.'s moves were...so I was trying to ask about them.

I also agree with him when he says there is absolutely NO WAY anybody know the full roster, you have to be either Sakurai, the developers or other big wigs in order to know the full roster. Nintendo is not going to let another "Melee roster" situation happen, count on it. They have learned frome their mistakes and that is why it is so tight lipped.

Just to set the record straight I don't work at Nintendo but know people that do. They told me about PK Starstorm before it was announced on the Dojo and haven't lied to me yet so I have no reason to disbelieve them. I questioned them about R.O.B. because he was already in SSE but they insisted he is playable, so I'm just reporting what I've heard.

I know for a FACT that they were working on Brawl (they have since moved to another project). They of course could be making this up or confused, but I seriously doubt that since as I said, they revealed other true information to me before the Dojo did. Believe it if you want, but you sure don't have to! Seems a lot of people weren't up to date on what I said and there was a lot of confusion. And for the record all I said was that Ness, Captain Falcon, and Marth are back while R.O.B. is a newcomer.

The guides have to have been essentially done by now for printing in time for release so at least 40 people at each guide's publishing house would know

There has to be a lot of testers, both internal and external in order to get things right not to mention many many others with many many other jobs

The amount of people outside of development that know the roster numbers in the hundreds, if not thousands...however they ALL sign Non-Disclosure Agreements in order to prevent leaks. They know that if they do leak, they WILL be prosecuted and sued for at least 5 figure amounts, they would lose their job and pretty much be black-balled in the industry for being a security risk

You cannot be naive enough to think that there is absolutely no way anyone can know it. Seriously

This is precisely why he is most assuredly a fake leaker. The "lol 3 lies per post" is SPECIFICALLY for this reason. He is spouting bull**** the entire time, but it doesn't matter because he was cleverer then the other fake leakers, he had a failsafe explanation for if anything he says ever gets debunked: "LOL 3 THINGS IN EACH OF MY POST IS A LIE, LAWLAWLAWL".

Something he posted gets debunked? "lol that was one of my lies, congratulations you found it!"...another debunk? "That was my SECOND lie! =D", another and another and another? "Sorry guys but those were my purposeful lies as well xD!"

He can't be proven wrong because he specifically made it so that anything he says that gets debunked he can shrug off and say it was one of his fake pieces of information.

Ah, Serebii . I think he means Game.co.uk's release date. Being a retailer though I'd assume this is just another speculation.. every shop has something completely different. Mid-May was always the scheduled launch, but even then now Nintendo's just saying TBA2008. We're going to have to wait and see about that.
