Yeah I know, but that was back when I made dumb posts without trolling / being serious. Now, anything dumb I say shouldn't be taken seriously (like when I called Victor a lady).

Melee is mostly about mindgames and momentum/confidence.

Obviously you need overall knowledge of the game and Technical skill, but it is generally NOT what makes you a good melee player.

m2k used to lose back in the day because all he had was tech skill..... Silent wolf still to this day loses because he is constantly trying to do fancy **** all the time. Both these players are amazingly good at what they do, so they are very good players, but like I said, the fact that they can do all sorts of big and long Acronyms doesnt matter when someone F-smashes you in the face.

in other words..... FOGET YER ABAs and DACUSes SON!

Melee is more technical, but less reliant on it.

Pikachu is underrated.

But I think Anthers pika is overrated. he is good at pika, but if more people actually played pikachu im sure they could be better.

obviously tiers do come into play a bit, but....

Anther is good, but I havnt even played Sid in a LONG time, and my guess is he is better.

Maybe im being too harsh, but I watched all the videos of him in that tourney, and I remain generally unimpressed.


EDIT: and WTF why would you play fox against Pika anyway. just pick like shiek lol.

my social PAT was huge, it had 100 questions and an essay. I went textbook style on the essay since it was way too risky/scary to write my own way.

This post screams Sid... Little technicality but still a great player (sid is alberta top tier), Pikachu being underrated, sid being maximum etc.
