Alabama Thread! (10/26/2016 update)

somebody buy my bike from me. then you can get to tournaments and smashfests really fast!!!

And travel across Alabama on about a dollar's worth of gas.

Seriously, though. I'm going to Game Galaxy whether it kills me or not. And yes, I'll take a group of people with me as I drive through Bham. I have 4 seat belts availible, so fight to the death over them! It's my understanding that Huntsville is offering us a nice floor to sleep on, yes? So we'll drive up Friday afternoon/night, then depart the next morrow for the venue. Sound right? Yes?

I'd say two from hunts and one from madison. one of the cars leaving from hunts being the one bham drove up in, of course.

@Majist: yeah youre right. my DDD is horrible. i try to be unique and play him differently but there really only is one way to play DDD. playing him normally isnt my thing so i swtiched to GW. but thanks though.

you mean that lucario player than spams fireballs and f-smashes/rolls when you get close to him?

I don't know what it is about Lucario, but other than Coach's they all seem to play the same, which is pretty badly. Even Azen's didn't seem too tricky when Will_ and I played him and Chu in doubles, though that could have been sandbagging.

i wonder if lucario's really that good a character.
he's a decent pick against snake because he outranges snake's tilts and snake doesn't really like projectiles
but I mean his whole entire game is based on mindgames and your opponent not understanding the matchup
like once you realize lucario's f-smash reaches halfway across the screen you really don't get hit by it anymore
and that's like how all of his moves are, seems like. i dont play lucario at all, but thats what it seems like.
plus his recovery is among the worst in the game

[Kalm]

Lucario has one of the best if not the best roll in the game. It's fast, covers a lot of ground, and barely has any lag at all. I actually had to learn to spam his roll to get better with him.
Fsmash is one of the more scary smashes, and somehow spamming it is safe, it only has to hit one out of 10 times to KO and you have to be right in Lucario's face to be able to punish it. His Fsmash is very deadly once he hits 100%.
His recovery sucks unless hes on Yoshi's Brawl, Pictochat, FD, or PS1. Couple other stages overall. Anyways his recovery much better when he can wall cling.
Other things, Lucario can chain grab and combo heavy characters into 60%. But his real strength is having no weaknesses, assuming hes on the right stage, then his recovery is a weakness.

I don't get how to use Lucario really well yet, he's kind of weird. I probably just need to roll and Fsmash more.
