Playing Metaknight helped me out quite a bit. I learned to pressure offstage more and I got better at aerial frametrapping and aerial pressuring in general. I encourage playing MK to learn, not to win. Sure, he'll help you win but if you're only doing it for the easy win and you're not learning anything from it, you're only gonna end up at square 1 again.
Playing Meta Knight taught me that I can't use characters with 6 jumps.

Totally still __X__'s biggest fan.
I have realized now that to become a good Sonic, I must first look at the man in the mirror and change myself. If you look at the top 5 Sonics (Espy, __X__, D1aos, Cloud, Speed) you will see they are all nice decent folk, just like Sonic. The bottom tier Sonics (Darth Teshsofresh and Google) you will note that we are pure evil and main Metaknight and Falco.
I'm still gonna CP Sonic on Pictochat when people ban Brinstar though.

Thank you Wedge. Oh by the way Tesh, im sure if Lebron's biggest fan was trying to be a basketball player or played street ball he would attempt to emulate his style if his physique allowed it.
You have the same physique as __X__ ( playing Sonic) you want to play his "sport" competitively. You see where im going with this? Smash has been ridiculously slow over here. Next tournament should be on May 1st or something. I'm gonna try to go to Genesis 2 still.

I wouldn't mind if in the end, you ended up being a better player than me.
But now I have an actual reason to try (/and/or put my heart into this game again).

Don't say I'm above average until I actually start doing things. If not for you, I'll try to get better at this; for myself. I've had enough with my self-hypocrisy and losing for dumb reasons that aren't out of my control. I wish I could explain this better, but basically I'm the one holding myself back, and I'm tired of it.
And the worst of it is that I have to take this? No more, I want to take names dammit.
Now if I can actually pay attention and divert my attention away from WoW and Touhou long enough... I might get somewhere with this. Hopefully.

It was some Tsunami Japan relief tournament, and Best Buy donated the gift cards for the tournament.
It was pretty legit. Some items on low, 3 stock, FD and Battlefield only (Decided by random), best 1 of 1, 4 minute timer, "cheap things are banned"
Also was all played on laggy HD televisions.
