and meta knight blows, a top player who plays snake properly can destroy a top player who plays MK properly so I've heard. IDK much about the scene outside of aus.

Gords, we are driving there in Stereo's car. It appears that shaya might be coming with us as well.

I see well I'd assume the car is full then. But if there is a spare spot would it be ok if I hitch hike with you guys. I guess that's more aimed at stereo. Don't stress yourselves over it though I don't mind training it. Although I hope the train times are suitable to go to the event.

Trains there and back are very expensive and are less frequent than probably preferred.

Luke's recommended the bus, $15 or so each way. They're like every hour or something from central.
You'll have to get the name off of him though, I don't recall.

well most people around here know each other and will have already worked out teams prior to the tourney, but its perfectly fine to show up without and just grab a partner on the day, plenty of people do that too.

@Gords: zair, longest grab in the game, and total off-stage ownage.

@ Drews0: Samus is essentially a character with a very steep learning curve (ie very difficult to win with). Zair is a lot of fun tho.

I expect there will be friendlies if there is time/tvs, but I'll leave it to luke to give the final answer.

And shaya I think you'll NEED to use metaknight after I conclusively proved on wifi that Ivysaur's bair -> ftilt gives him a 90:10 advantage over marth.
