How does going to FAST1, the only reasonable melee tourney to attend this summer with my summer job, equate to me not playing anymore!!!

You clearly are joking. I don't participate in the tournament scene and probably have only played against 15% of the FL melee players, but I can say with confidence that you DO NOT have the best marth. There are tons of people who don't main Marth as well as main Marth that can beast you.
