i was looking at some norcal tournies, and reading the modified Japanese ruleset, and it noted that Marth's "ender grab" was banned entirely. What the heck is an ender grab?

Deductive reasoning is fun.

Things Marth has that are gay with his grabs. There is the normal aerial release stuff, but that's not gay. There's fthrow->fsmash at 0, but that's not gay/they don't ban Falco's CG.

What is the only other thing Marth has on specific characters that is based off of his grab?

if it's the falco 0 to death, it's understandable but is one of the things that make the MU even isn't it?

also, FFFair -> Fsmash can be a true combo on some characters? as well as FFFair -> Dair (low/mid percent)?

Not sure about any of those, but I'm using quite frequently untipper rising Fair> Tipper FFUair > followup at low-mid damages.

It's a strategy tactic game where there isn't really any set goal nor any condition which allows you to 'win'.
You pick a historical point / character and you play as their 'dynasty' and you lose if your dynasty dies out/loses all control of land, otherwise you keep playing to 1470 where the game ends and I suppose you technically 'win'. You accrue 'prestige' for doing various things (conquering other countries/land, running feasts, teaching children, sacrificing animals or humans to post-earthquake pits of hell) and piety for doing religious things and when you die they get added to your dynasty's score and you then play as your 'heir' (every character has RPG stats).;

My original goal was to start as a Christian heretic in the middle east and then to ensure survival convert to Islam (if you're a different religion to another country they can declare war on you freely, otherwise its a bit more complicated), become the most powerful vassal of an Islam Caliphate, then eventually get a claim on the caliphate, declare war on the Caliph and win, and then convert the entire empire back into Christians.

I may still try that, but this time around I was able to with one of my characters early on in the game marry the Queen of Poland, followed by assassinating her first son so my child would be the heir to the kingdom of Poland. From there I was able to spread destruction very quickly as Muslim countries start off with higher technological levels (Catholics however get access to free 8000 man armies that have close to maxed out war stats; however the 'entire catholic world' have to share the 1-3 [as time goes on] armies with each other, so it was generally ez pez) and was able to blitzkreig the opposition quickly, as a Muslim king of Poland I was also able to take/kill all the Christian vassals without much confrontation (I converted a few which were able to be converted, but for the most part christians/any other religion which you aren't will hate your guts and would rather be slaughtered then converting).

Being able to freely declare war on all of your neighbours while being more technologically advanced and already having a strong middle eastern base for forces was just pew pew. Normally you can only declare war on countries if you have a 'claim' (as in, varying generational claims by marrying certain people who are kings/counts/dukes/etc, you can also forge claims but they can take forever), and normally it would be extremely unlikely that you'd be able to prop together up a smack bang in the middle of europe Islamic empire that wouldn't have the pope/orthodox patriarch burning fire on your ***, but various political gifts helped that out (everyone wants money dawg).

Anyway, the goal of this current game now is to maybe dissolve the holy roman or bryzantine empire (or both) or just... conquer europe. The divergence in the original path came about with a bit of luck but if I play through another game I may be able to marry into something more powerful as to crush infidels even faster.

This current game has been ongoing for like 3 weeks, one game takes a very very long time.

AND AFTER ALL OF THAT

The game rules forces you to start the game as a Christian (including heresies), so the only way to make an impact on the muslim world is by starting off as a Duke in 1066 near kingdom of nubia and declaring fealty to a Caliph before they change Crown Authority that allows them to take titles from infidels without penalty.

.....not sure what the hell you guys are talking about but i gotz a question..how many marth mains here actually play with tap jump off? or for that matter how many of you guys actually change your buttons around? are there any techniques marth uses that are easier the way you have your buttons mapped? and yes shaya i know theres a thread for a question like this but i want to ask my marth brethern here in this thread.
