I'm a huge fan of Classic Sonic and a casual fan of Boost, but I've never really seen Sonic as some ultra-cool dude - I've more seen him as a Max Goof figure, a flawed, snarky, chilled-out teen living his best life.

Rosalina is basically the Shadow of Mario:
Extremely controversial and is often believed to have replaced an earlier character (Daisy/Knuckles)
One of the most powerful characters in the series
Lore implies they were involved in previous games' events
Fit the aesthetic of the time period they were introduced to a T
More serious than the other characters at first, but slowly devolved into just another wacky cast member.
Seems Sonic Team has finally learned that the "gotta go fast" philosophy only really applies to cartoon animals with extreme speed and super reflexes.
I've been waiting a long time for the next Bubsy game to be announced. It seems the pattern will be one every two years, each having some sort of important date (launch, reveal, e.t.c.) close to Halloween. The only hint we really have right now is the official Bubsy lurking silently on the semi-official Bubsy fan Discord a few months after PoF's release, meaning they may be taking notes for the next instalment. I have high hopes for Bubsy. Paws on Fire is 'aight, and I think if they get the right devs he could really be something special.

I've been celebrating Pac-Man's 40th anniversary more than I ever have for the birthday of any real person I've known in my life, including myself.
I love how all the Minecraft DLC crossovers have kinda obscure references - like you're not gonna see a Stanley the Bugman or Pac-Devil skin there, but it's still neat to see Jr. Pac-Man or Boom Boom in there
These two consoles couldn't be further apart aesthetically, but the Xbox Series X really reminds me of the Game Boy Colour - in that certain games were designed for the latter console (GBC/XBSX) but could be run as deoptimised versions on the prior console (GB/XB1)

Hamboning would be a completely useless skill for Johnny Test characters - they could just rhythmically whipcrack their arms to the tune of Shave and a Haircut.
I never got the stigma behind "dolled up instalments" - usually I find the "dolled up" equivalents to be much more cosmetically appealing.
A good way to resolve the "Koopalings taking up too many slots" issue would be to have them all shoved into one big clown car. Maybe it wouldn't work for Mario Kart, but it'd work for Tennis, Party, e.t.c.

I think a lot about that one meme where it's a picture of a ton of news articles about Nintendo removing the feather from Mr. G&W followed by that picture of SpongeBob and Patrick in a destroyed city saying "we saved the city!" - like, that makes no sense. They removed an offensive feather, they didn't destroy anything. It's not like it's a "grave threat to game preservation" - if the anti-censorship crowd really cared about G&W preservation there'd be a lot more G&W roms for Mame.
Is it like, a legal requirement for all Canadian companies to have a maple leaf somewhere in their logo? Knowing Canadian television laws that really wouldn't be surprising.

TL;DR: Pac-Man was plagiarised from a toy, but the Tomy were cool with it and agreed to make products tying in to the Pac-Man game.
After getting serious about Space Invader in Smash I'm starting to understand how a certain other space villain's fans felt about the "too big" argument. Space Invaders deserves better than just a stage, Spirit Board event, or AT.
