    Waluigi fans can be pretty immature (I left r/Waluigi recently after a post about Waluigi as a trans icon got downvoted to hell), but I don't think it's good to make assumptions about a whole fandom - unless of course a person of power in the fandom such as a creator encourages fans to be toxic (PewDiePie for example)

    half of Bubsy's games (not including ports) have appeared on Nintendo consoles, and one of his games was published by Nintendo in some areas of Europe.

    just saying, relevance to Nintendo means nothing to whether characters can get in Smash or not.

    This would be fine all in all, except that only a small subset of fans want him in Smash. He's not even famous enough to be a meme want like Shrek.

    I suspect that the only reason Choice Provisions agreed to do the new Bubsy is that they needed the money.

    Krystal isn't a character I think particularly high of. her British accent gets on my nerves and I'm not a fan of sexualised designs for anything (couldn't care less if she's an animal or not - I just don't like conventionally attractive character design, especially on female characters) - that being said, she looks like a ton of fun in Smash Flash 2.

    Pinball is just another decently fun but overall unexciting black box NES game IMO. it's well designed around the lack of tilt, but it doesn't do anything revolutionary.

    I do enjoy it enough. That aside, Pin Bot and Pinball Quest seem interesting (and have tilt), though the controls in the latter seem like they may take some getting used to...

    @JaiTheGuy New Donk feels so lifeless in smash... mostly just gray and light blue. In Odyssey it is much more lively and colorful

    Why do people want Pooch-I mean Shadow playable in Smash again? you can literally count the amount of good games he's been in on two hands, on one if you exclude crossovers such as Smash and All-Stars Racing.

    I fail more to understand why he should get in over Tails. Even if you buy into the "most future Sonic characters can just get in as Echoes" theory (which I don't), they would have to go with Tails or even Eggman first, for seniority's sake.

    if Banjo gets in Smash I'd be really happy about it - not a Banjo fan (I prefer Crash myself) but even I know he and Kazooie have some really unique moves as well as a unique, cheeky personality.

    if Banjo does become a dlc fighter for THIS pass (I wouldn't be surprised if there are gonna be more passes) I would need to rethink what I think will be in the pass

    apparently a protagonist from Resident Evil has been leaked for Smash... SERIOUSLY hope it isn't Jill Valentine, don't want my girl Jill from Drill Dozer deconfirmed.

    Wario is not off-character in Smash.

    Wario IS off-character in 90's Western marketing materials.

    I will say he is off-character in SSE, but that's as non-canon as it gets.

    It's inevitable, seeing as Super Mario-Kun never even made it to the West until 2014 (yeah, Mario is out of character in that, but that's besides the point).

    Also, whether he's villainous or not tends to vary. Especially when there isn't any gold or money involved.

    I have a theory on what the un-cancelled game is: Super Mario Spikers. it was cancelled for being too violent, and Ridley and Simon's trailers, as well as Dharkon's bad ending in WoL, all of which involve Mario characters, are much, MUCH more violent than Spikers (which was cancelled around 10 years ago) was going to be and received zero controversy.

    This is probably impossible from a development perspective, but I'd love a Stage Builder that lets you design stages with the aesthetics of any other stage in the game, so for example you could make a custom layout for New Pork or Pac-Land or Temple.
