It annoys me when someone makes a post in an unpopular opinion thread that most people agree with but is a unique and unpopular way of thinking about it and all the responses are “uh actually that’s not unpopular”
I didn’t know azumanga daioh and yotsuba had the same creator so when I heard osaka made a cameo in yotsuba I thought they were building the slice of life cinematic universe

Like Street Fighter, Monster Hunter and Resident Evil are more successful and pushed way harder than Mega Man now (especially because NES nostalgia isn’t as common as in 2014) and they can all be argued to have strong Nintendo connections. They all have equal or more connections to other consoles though at the same time.
It’s kinda funny to me that Tim Curry has actually played dr frankenstein before but not that many people know it because it was in an obscure FMV computer game from the 90s

I am going to sound insane here but I like thinking of ideas for stories really late when I’m half asleep because sometimes I’m half dreaming too and the ideas I think about get really weird. Not like “a weird plot point I think is a good idea at the time” I literally mean that I’m operating under dream logic so sans undertale keeps popping up and he has a gun and I can’t get him to leave the scene I’m imagining

The next game I’ll play is Silpheed: The Lost Planet which I’m excited for because it’s also a shoot em up but won’t play it for a while since I go on vacation in a few days.
Also I played the Japanese version of silhouette mirage and working designs didn’t add the lives system but they did make it a way harder game overall

I beat Sin and Punishment today. My favorite part was when they traveled to the far distant future of 2017 and the only part of the new york skyline that survives an apocalypse is the twin towers. This is a second party Nintendo game btw.
One of my favorite "this should never happen but if it did happen it might actually be cool" ideas for smash is "invincible mario" as his own slot (except obviously he's not actually invincible)
It’s so funny that kids will literally play with any action figures you give them. I remember having an action figure of goat boy from SNL as a kid I just treated as a regular superhero when I played with my action figures

Some of the punch out and street fighter characters are racial stereotypes which havent aged the best but on some level you also do kind of have to respect the developers of those games for also making racial stereotypes of japan too

It’s funny to me that people are making memes about shrek 5 where shrek’s daughter does the “I want to go out and see the world” thing and then getting genuinely mad at it. You just made that plot line up it’s not in the movie so far.
Even if it’s true, I really don’t think a movie is inherently bad if it has trope-y writing to it
