I really like how Serious Sam 2 looks. It looks like the 2005 web 2.0 glossy aestheric thing a game could possibly be. This feels the fake game that's in the ads on Miniclip or some character on a show is playing but real.

I find it funny how the Spongebob episode where Patchy gets hyped up to see an episode and then gets disappointed was itself hyped up and the general opinion is that it's one of the weaker early episodes

I was thinking about how Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games worked in-universe when I had the thought of Mario and Sonic being some sort of video game "actors" and are doing promotion stuff for their games. Then I had the thought of what the real world equivalent would be and I thought of MCU and DC actors in their character costumes doing Olympic games against each other
Apparently Fortnite is adding Fall Guys. Not like a Fall Guys skin or cosmetic or something but like they're adding a mode that is basically just exactly the Fall Guys game but you can use Fortnite's tools to create courses and stuff. Cashregister9's comment about Fortnite trying to seem like "The Video Game™" at the expense of it's own identity seems really relevant.
When I was a kid I was really scared of the movie where Elmo turns green because I (probably) had a dream where there was a commercial for it where it started with a kid shouting "Elmo's green!" and then there were a bunch of kids and muppets crying and a muppet monster ate the word "GREEN" with the sound effects of kids crying and weird singing also from kids. I don't know if this was just a dream or an actual commerical I misinterpreted really badly as a kid
