I think "submit a franchise for adults" and "submit a franchise for preschoolers" are both event jobs I want to do for the racing thread, though they probably won't be the next two (especially if Muppets wins the current job). Revisiting previous IPs will also happen at some point, and I also want to do items (though those would be original and retroactively added to base game)

I really like that Fire Piranha Plant is in Mario Tennis Aces instead of a normal Piranha Plant, I'd love to see more enemy variants make Mario rosters instead of, not with, their non-variant counterparts - like Paratroopa or my beloved Underground Goomba.

A small part of me wants to use my Marge impression and Vtuber technology to do a stream in-character, but the more sensible part knows I am terrible at in-character improv and the stream would just be me saying "Mhhhmmm Homie" ad nauseum while playing Atari 2600 games or some other thing nobody wants to watch.

I don't have a problem with the Angry Video Game Nerd in Smash on a licit level, but I really can't imagine him being that fun within an E10+ rating and without direct references to the games he's reviewed.
I feel the only situation where NASB not having licensed music is a loss is if they add ChalkZone characters - this guitar solo deserves to be heard at EVO finals.

Honestly if I made a multiplayer game - especially in a niche or monopolised genre like platform fighters - and there wasn't some uber-large marketing campaign, I wouldn't include Quickplay at all, just lobbies.
As much as I dislike the Qualitipedia sites, I do feel kinda bad that they had to close due to being mistaken for having an affiliation with their site hosts.

Speaking of the Muppets and crossovers, this little fact - in the context of NASB - makes me feel how Banjo fans must've felt back in Brawl.
You could make a legitimate, non-ironic argument for Muppet Babies being the "most ambitious crossover of all time" - it was made by Marvel and Toei, and featured clips from Donkey Kong; Ghostbusters; Star Wars; Indiana Jones; Teen Wolf; E.T.; Weird Al Yankovic; and Star Trek among others - also the popularity of its Attack of the Killer Tomatoes spoof was what got the animated adaptation greenlit, meaning Muppet Babies also has the Smash effect
The Wise Mystical Tree meme reminds me of the tree from "Everything's Rosie".
There's quite an appeal to 4 or 8-character multiplayer game roster, like they're objectively worse than a 20+ character roster but a small selection pool means pretty much every player will have a top favourite character instead of like 7.
You could easily take the soundtrack of this game, post it as a .rar to 4chan with all the filenames set to "*noun*_KNIGHT_DEMO.wav" and everyone would absolutely believe you that they're leaked music from a new Shovel Knight game
