Hey, so do you guys remember that post I made a while back about Annalynn having a cameo in Antonball? Well, the tweet where I supposedly got the information doesn’t exist, or at least I can’t find it. So (most likely) no Anna in Antonball.

(Cruise also drew some art of Anton back during SAGE 2020 which was retweeted by Tony Grayson, creator of Anton, so that’s also pretty rad.)

Question for anyone who's been following Nexed but isn't on the Discord: Would anyone be opposed to me posting the usual weekly update as a status post?
Goddamn, I know this is supposed to be a serious scene, but I can’t help but get a few chuckles out of it. The glares Mansley and the Giant share, the cut when the missile is actually fired, the delivery of “WHERE’S THE GIANT, MANSLEY?”, Mansley attempting to flee complete with relatively whimsical music only to get cut off by the Giant near instantly - All fairly amusing stuff, albeit some dark (and perhaps unintentional) comedy.
Nothing to laugh about regarding what happens afterwards, though.

this is pretty much gonna be a take two on my reply to torgo's post - i do think it's generally based for companies to support lgbt+ beyond pride month, and i think mojang's seriously genuine about it seeing how many of their employees are part of the community. twitter's just really dumb and will cry if the word "lgbt" is even uttered beyond june; lgbt+ people don't stop existing on july 1st you dummies

I was originally going to make this a whole Google Docs essay, but I realized it would take me ages to explain everything super thoroughly, so I'm just going to explain this concept in a brief(ish) spoiler tab.
- The presentation style is mostly similar to that of Sonic Origins (aside from a more muted color scheme for the Missions/Museum menus). The menu islands return, and camera controls are now built-in as opposed to a DLC inclusion. Character animations are also built-in, but serve as a completion bonus for certain games and their respective islands, aside from one or two characters who appear on the island by default (Sonic and Robotnik for Sonic 1, Sonic and Tails for Sonic 2, etc.)
- The four included games are Sonic 1, 2, CD, and 3 & Knuckles.
- All of these "definitive" versions of the games feature widescreen displays, improvements brought on by the early 2010's remakes of 1/2/CD and the Origins version of 3&K, and the animated cutscenes Origins brought.
- The life/Game Over system and Drop Dash can all be toggled on and off for all four games, with the Spin Dash being available for Sonic 1 as well. Mirror Mode is also an option once a game has been completed.
- Boss rushes can be played per game instead of handling all the major bosses from all four titles at once. With 3&K specifically, you can choose to fight only midbosses, major bosses, or both.
- 3&K's replacement music (Carnival Night, Ice Cap, etc.) will still be used, but will be handled by Tee Lopes as opposed to Jun Senoue and are overall more faithful to their prototype versions.
- Coins return as a means to unlock content in the Museum, but are not limited to any one mode. Instead, earning a certain amount of points in any of the four major games will net you one coin, regardless if you have lives/the Spin Dash/etc. activated.
- As for the Museum itself, it contains most of what the Sonic Origins museum has. In addition to this, it features...
- Two commercial reels; One with English commercials, and another with Japanese commercials. Both have subtitles available.
- A Classic Sonic-inspired issue of the Sonic IDW comic line. Any chance of the Archie comics getting rereleased is dead in the water, so might as well get the next best thing.
- A few "archive games", which play exactly like their original release. These include...
- Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic & Knuckles, and CD. These preserve the original versions of the games so that purists of the originals can still enjoy them.

- Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Genesis)

I love how the boss theme for Knuckles incorporates a shifted version of the JPN Stardust Speedway Bad Future theme, foreshadowing the reveal that the Knuckles in Sonic/Tails’ story is actually Metal Sonic.

Annalynn buddy's kinda working; I have the idle/wait and dash animations working (even if the sprites are somewhat blurry), but I'm having trouble getting things like offsets to work properly. Tomorrow I might try and make a turning sprite (nothing of the like exists in annalynn) and maybe get taunting to work.
