This is one of the worst trailers I've seen - albeit more personally and not because I think it's low quality. I really dislike that pastel lo-fi aesthetic and dating digital versions of real people in a biopic game is icky. Shame to see people use it as a way to justify transphobia/racism though

I generally don't like shill picks for recent releases, but I'm all for Parker the Cloud (Middlemost Post) in Nick Brawl. Given how Nick corporate can act their new shows need all the help they can get; and Parker could be really fun as a small shapeshifter with weather powers and mail delivery-themed moves - also I really like the design of Angus. Continuihg off CoH's "Ultimate lacks focus" status, I decided to categorise how I see the newcomer roster as "celebration" - it's more balanced than I expected, though some characters like Min Min and Byleth I couldn't find any category for. Funny how "gaming history" is the smallest though, (I did consider putting in K. Rool given how much of a landmark title DKC was, but considering a lot of if not most players probably never saw him due to a lack of an exposition cutscene and his ominous manual silhouette... not sure he counts. If Covid and ACNH happened before SSBU Isabelle would be in history easy.)

I have this weird quirk where if I say something with a certain amount of syllables, I'll then hear it in my mind with the exact delivery of some specific quote from a cartoon, video, or movie I watched as a kid. "Now those are cookie robots" from Despicable Me pops up a lot.

If Multiversus is indeed a bad F2P game a la Brawlhalla, there is still something related to it to be hyped about: the initial leak stated multiple major game studios were working on their own platform fighters. Even if those games also end up being bad, more platfighters is good news - loosening Nintendo's monopoly and providing more titles for devs to learn from is a miracle.

I would love to have the GameCube versions of Melee's stages as optional forms in SSBU - in particular I've always found Pokémon Stadium and Kongo Falls' Melee iterations charming, and SSBU Yoshi's Story is just a full-on downgrade
