  • Oh I see. Cool. So do you main PT in Brawl and Bowser in Melee or Bowser in both games? I main Peach in Melee, and MK, Snake, Falco when I used to play Brawl.
Oh I see. Well hopefully there are some Brawl tournaments for you to enter in the summer near San Francisco, CA. Actually in summer 2010, I went to BIO 4 where M2K was there. I only entered Melee singles. He only entered Melee doubles so he can focus more on Brawl. He won 1st in Melee Doubles, Brawl doubles, and Brawl singles and teamed with Eggz for Melee doubles and got 2nd. BIO 5 had like 150 entrants for Brawl singles I believe.
Oh cool, nice. Do you plan on going to any Melee tournaments in the summer at all or do you just focus on Brawl only? Melee is big especially in the summer in NorCal. I remember we had like 8 tournaments in a 10 week span in the summer of 2010 in NorCal.
During the school year I live in Santa Barbara, CA which is CenCal. In the summer, I live in San Jose, CA which is NorCal like Miles (PokemonMasterIRL). We live like 5 minutes walking distance from each other actually. You seem to know him a lot based on your SWF I believe. What part of NorCal will you be in during the summer?
Oh, well it would all be uploaded if my computer wasn't total trash.

I'll see if I have any replays on my system though, and I'll send them to you.
I didn't know if I had any replays, but I can get them.

Sorry about all those not being uploaded btw, I had almost NO footage that would be able to be used and the little I did have was still choppy and had a desync problem. I hate my computer.
No problem Zig. I felt like I should finally tell people. No one will ever crush my spirit. : )
Nah, I haven't tried to play him competitively. Besides that, I've accepted that Sonic might fit my playstyle better, among other complications that that prevent me from going pro with Bowser.

Besides, I don't want to be a bother. If I put my mind and efforts to it, I believe I could do anything I want. :)

    :093:
Zig, I'm going to get a new ava soon so that our avatars can dance again!
Clearly i cant correctly express through words what i am trying to say but did you by chance read my most recent posts(the 2 before your nuke)? Do you understand what i was trying to say?
lol sorry - i didn't mean to step on your toes. i'm don't necessarily want it reversed - i'm just offering my opinion he's not a troll

i think i am going to bring up this Giga Charizard user in the SS though... kinda curious as to what's going on with that
lol... while i'm not going to say that smashboards would be worse off without him, i think it's a little hasty to assume it's a troll account. my impression was that he's just a bit of a nub... probably pretty young too.

i searched his IP - only match is an account Giga Charizard, which doesn't seem to exist, which itself is interesting, but nothing that suggests it's a troll account.
4 Bowsers at one tournament is like ****ing Christmas.

Again, we'll see. It all comes down to money and whether or not we can get enough people to go. Because honestly, we usually travel as a group.

    Team Hawaii Five-0. :D
Waseda Style is sort of like 2 man crews.

Basically, both teams decide who they want to send out first. The two players who get chosen have to play a set. Then, the remaining two players play a set. If you're tied at one win each, then the winners play a set.

It's a really fun side event. Especially if you're character-locked and the teams are random. It encourages people to adapt quickly to unfamiliar teammates, and there's strategy involved in deciding who goes first and whatnot. You guys should try it out sometimes. :D

As for WHOBO, we'll see. Money is tight and a lot of us have school/jobs to worry about. But we've certainly considered it. :D
lol Zigsta you were like 10 bombs behind like the entire time but I had your back don't worry. We'll do it again someday...
I'm running Choice Band, myself. That said I imagine two Howls wouldn't be uncommon, though--Entei is definitely bulky enough to take a hit from any unSTAB'd Earthquake or Stone Edge, and if you're facing something that needs to switch, that's more than enough opportunity. Still, +1 Flare Blitz and Stone Edge are ridiculous enough by themselves, so there's little reason to take that hit, unless they're weakened and you plan on Extremespeeding through the rest of their team.
Yeah, it's working out pretty well. The things he has on Arcanine make me miss Flash Fire only a little. That Stone Edge is quite nice for knocking out other Fires and the various Flyers.
Just my current Battle Tower team. I'm still playing SoulSilver until Black and White are released in America. It should change pretty soon--I'm usually making something new.
There's a tournament in Austin this weekend? That's one heck of a drive. Gimme the link, though.
It's in the NY/NJ Social area iirc

Its based off the wrestling group Nexus.
