Discussion about the metagame and finding new uses for moves and all will help Link's tourney placings, which ultimately bumps Link up if he is still better than three other characters... and if there are multiple places for the discussion, there is a better chance of finding something.

Also, the rest of both AiB and SWF can aid Link's game, like two different matchup threads.

Anyways, I'm sure you guys need more members too, but we have about 20 or so, a few not even Link mains just trying to help out.

How would a deserted character board look to the SBR or whoever does the tiers?

I know all about that, It's just we don't want new Links coming in to a deserted Link boards, and anyways, we got so far on here, why not keep the momentum?

This newer generation is already starting to piss me off. I love how they completely ignore advice (whether direct or indirect) and think they are better then the old gen.

also for the Aib i tried rigistering but for some reason i couldnt make one.. ill try later. i mean like it gives you an option where your from right.. and i put "Canada" and when you click for the states it shows a list of american states haha but yeah i'll try again later.

Eh, I really dont know how I time the jump, I really just do it by instinct. If I know that its not gunna blow up before I die than I just toss it up and Up B into it, I think it helps you DI the blast better if you do it that way.

Sasook, I hadn't been there for the past events, but a rivalry against the boards is only gonna hurt the people that stumble upon this place. I've seen a lot of people saying This section is User-Enforced dead, go to AiB for better discussion, but to constantly hate on this forum specifically also looks bad on you in the eyes of the recently registered members. I'm gonna personally give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it's not true, but it still LOOKS like you guys are just a bunch of *******s that got your threads locked and are just sore about it. It's not a simple matter of fully explaining the situation every time it comes up, because it just takes a long time post, it derails threads, and people tend to just stop paying attention during such fights.

So I am gonna check out AiB, but I'm not gonna stop posting here. If someone's looking for help here, I'm still gonna help them, and I'm probably gonna offer a related AiB link. I hope you understand that at my first glance, I assumed you guys had just been posting random "AiB is better this forum sucks" posts, and if that's the kind of post people recognize you for, they're probably not going to join AiB because of it.

Well I can still give you a few tips.

Anytime you are not using a piece for whatever reason. just throw it up. makes it last longer and harder for enemies to get it.

another tip could be to know that glide tossing down into them is a good pressuring move. and can link to other attacks even if blocked.

And remember that you can pick up a piece in the air with Z and get no lag and can throw a piece right after.

At the moment, just worry about practicing KEEPING the opponent from getting the pieces more than trying to hurt them. after u learn then u can get more advanced.

Sorry, I don't have any offline videos of me. I really would like to upload some if I could, but no one is ever recording when I'm playing. Maybe at the tournament I'm going to this weekend someone will be recording. Hope so.
