I'll tell you what, I'll finish it over here first following the guidelines you have proposed (Adding everything that was already known), then once I'm done, I'll post it all over there and add anything that you guys have discovered. It might just be the easiest way. So you'll know when I'm done when either you see the title change (I'll get rid of the 'work in progress' part) or when I show up on your boards with the thread. That way everyone wins. We get a more complete list in exchange for you guys getting a reference list or whatever you'll want it for.

I'll take your word for it though concerning me not mentioning it originated from the Toon boards. As silly as it seems. I mean you never know, they might tolerate it. The SWF Link boards have been holding back any flaming XD, but that might just be because they have no choice. Either way, it's quite amusing.

It's not so much that your word is law, it's more that you've become one of the only Link's that are capable of dealing with both sides while still maintaining respect. Like if I was to try and negotiate this sort of thing with anyone else, I don't think I'd get too far. Anyway, It's been nice chatting. I spose I'll go have a look at some of those old threads. Cya.

Yeah, I can't just ignore 00000. He's a nice guy and he honestly just wants to help out, just like me. I'm not sure what to do. I might just have to say, something like, before you ask me to add something, could you please ask Sasook if it's ok. Like I don't want to get you involved against your will, but I honestly don't know what's ok and what isn't ok for me to add. For example, I would have thought that adding the Jab lock would be perfectly ok. But is it? I don't know.

I somehow can't see Buzz appologising. But you have to realise, I never said anything about you moving back to SWF. If you don't want to, then that's cool with me. You have your reasons and I respect that. All we need is some sort of new agreement that makes things a little more leanient. I was hoping that maybe by adding my thread to your boards, it would sort of become a combined source of knowledge on both sites. So everything that we know and everything that they know are in the same thread and that same thread is on both sites. And then hopefully this would be the link between the two sites that bring the Link's together so they can stop bickering and work together on the same character (Yeah this is starting to sound too cliche). Or maybe I'm just dreaming. But still, it would surely be well worth the try. What do you think?

There's an agreement? Yeah, I didn't know. I gave him credit, tested it myself and wrote it up in my own words. I spose this is more complicated then I thought. What I don't understand is, yes you have history and things happened, but you're both working on the same character, so what's the big deal?
I dunno, the 00000 guy sent me a link to it and I figured there wasn't a problem. Besides, on AiB, Kirin wasn't exactly getting heaps of positive responses. Most of the guy's knew about it and thought it was old news. Look, if you're sure that this will cause some people to get upset, then it's honestly no big deal. I'll simply take it out. It's just that this would have been so much easier if I hadn't of just finished checking all the stages that it works on.

Just, something needs to be done about this whole affair. It needs to be sorted out. I mean, what am I supposed to tell people like 00000 who are simply helping me out by sending me links to techs and vids that you guys have made and don't want on smashboards? I can't say, sorry I can't add that because so and so doesn't want it here for whatever reason. This is just all so needlessly complicated. Your a reasonable guy, we can talk about this maturely and try to find some sort of agreement that both parties are cool with that makes life easier for us, can't we? yep that's it! I really want to learn it from the air but it's sooo hard. But TC or LW (whatever you wanna call it) is really sneaky lol... lots of people don't expect it. If you send your opponent sky high and they try and take the ledge, LW > uair is sexy as hell here.

I knew it! Watching that Deva vs Maos vid sealed the deal that link mains have the best DI! Surviving that spike at the end was so good.

Her DI depends on the character really... momentum cancel with bair and you can live definitely to 130-150% each stock... she's harder to kill horizontally, vertically she can die reeeally early so snake, dedede and their utilts etc.. can kill her quite early.. as early as 100%.

Yeah nayru's doesn't actually fly lol... but if you buffer a movement in hitstun and use it immediately it kinda swoops reealy fast in that direction... it's pretty situational. Check out 1:03 of the vid and you'll see what I'm saying:

Yeah FW is hard at first, it's a last resort recovery, usually she can make the ledge with her 2nd jump. Once you get that done, you'll move onto teleport cancelling and flying with nayru's Keep in mind... most important move is Dtilt, I made some massively long summary on it, and Bair OoS is veeeeery good. We're gonna talk more about them when Kaylo goes through her moveset thread.

You did, I've been busy focused on getting to Genesis and making sure I have everything like Housing, Food, etc covered. I'll take a look at the rest of the vids later tonight or tomorrow.

Dittos of course, however some of them are kinda... hard to really tell whether it should be up or not (Dedede Dittos are kinda hard to judge, if the video is just infinite Chain Grabbing on the edge it's a good representation of the matchup but kinda dull, while if they play more exciting it might give someone the wrong impression of the matchup).

Link Ditto should be fine as long as like neither player is making huge mistakes and showing good gameplay.

If the video is fairly accurate of the current metagame, I'll allow it even if it's older than 6 months. I just try to have 6 months as the dead line for most characters since their own metagames usually improve/change dramatically when you talk about a half a year time span (not to mention it's likely the opponent's character also has shown some fairly significant change).

In Link's case however, his metagame has pretty much gotten close to it's peak, or in the case of the Deva Set the strategies shown there are similar enough to the current metagame.

Ok, I'll continue to work on it for now. We'll talk more later on and try to work something out.

I see now that by making this thread complete, it would kinda stuff up this whole get back at them plan. Anyway, if your ok with me finishing the thread, at least to help the other newcomers, then I will honour your request to not put any of your vids or quotes in it. (So is there anything else I should know?)

I mean I need vids of the AT's and I can't make my own. You would of course be credited for the vid, but if your still not cool with it, then I won't say anything more about it.

Well, unless you develop cancer, fall off a cliff and injure yourself, or do something else, you'll pull through. Almost all of the cases I've looked up on Swine Flu where the people died... they had other complications that played their part in the death. Its pretty much just the normal flu, you'll survive.
