I can tell that EC is more demanding, you write well even on your posts, they must make you read alot, lol I need to read more. I actually have a very different experience. I've moved many times, I was born in Cincinnati, OH and lived in Ohio for eight years. My most recent move was from Alabama to Illinois. The south is waaay different from the north. The dialect is different and I didn't feel that success was their #1 goal, but that may just be related to the dialect since most of it is not proper. I've been on vacations in the states everywhere except the West like Arizona in California(been to Washington). I bet I would like EC, there is nothing that I don't enjoy doing, I can pretty much do anything and it would be fun ^_^ In my area our high school is pretty diverse, its actually about 60% African-American the first time the minority population held a greater % @ this school district. Our school has around 3,000 students, I'm guessing EC has comparable sizes. I'm located in the southern suburbs of Chicago(30 min drive)
If I go downtown to Chicago or the airport, that is the only time I hear a different language except for a few people at my school because their parents are immigrants. Have you really not been away from the EC? You need to go South because its waay different, Florida is fun, I've visited many times but you won't hear southern accents except in certain areas. Its very funny to hear and you will be surprised of the difference between the dialects. Also the way they dress is different as well. Certain parts in Midwest and South like Ohio dress more conservative than like Chicago. Do you mean EC knows about like programming, ect...? or just general stuff like Facebook.
