hey a friend of rykos... I was wondering about Balanced Brawl and marths new approach on the game. I was speaking with Thinkaman about a buff either on his dash attack or jabs atleast have jabs as they were in melee but they said that would change many match ups in his favor etc. so i was thinking just buffing his dash attack and alot of marth's say dair. I wouldn't mind buffing marth's dash attack and dair to be honest

Remember how you wanted to spread competitive smash to further audiences? Well I guess I did something that might attract a little attention. I got the owner of Gonintendo.com, an immensely popular Nintendo news site, to agree to post some videos of Brawl at higher level play when I send them to him. Another thing he agreed to do was to post the link to the Genesis live stream on his news feed.
It probably won't have too big an effect, but the site does get a whole lot of traffic, and I'm sure it will intrigue some people. Just letting you know as you kind of became the figurehead (at least to me) in this whole project of expanding Brawl's competitive scene.
transcended hitboxes don't interact with other hitboxes (Like Falco's Laser). You can never clash with them, or cancel them out (Think, Marth's Dancing Blade never clashes or beats projectiles)
All of MK's attacks are transcended, with the exceptions of Glide attack, Dash Attack, and Tornado. This is why he has such a hard time dealing with projectiles. Most characters just beat point blank projectiles.
This is also why Falco is so broken. Transcended projectile with rapid fire and autocancelling? WinWhat do you mean by transcended? Like Falco's lasers (which'd always break through the tornado)? Or like Peach's turnips (which could be thrown down from the top, but not from the sides)Yeah there are a surprisingly large number of projectiles which cut through the tornado that you wouldn't think would unless you've played the matchups.I'm still not sure how tornado can beat eggs, other than completely evading the egg. I was trying it later on that yoshi that was there but he was being a complete **** to me. And later I talked to the yoshis that I know and they all say that eggs cut right through the tornado.
I dislike smashville vs MK the abuse of unpunished tornado and how he works better on the stage then i do.

I also wanted to apologize, I'm sorry for being whiny and slightly obnoxious on the subject, it's just that it was frustrating for me to be striving to make it for so long and just see all these people who I'd never even seen post in the Marth Boards being in, and it kind of got on my nerves.
