I think we can all agree on one thing about the Arcade Era of Mortal Kombat. The ninja designs were pretty lazy. They were basically palette swaps with different special moves.

If Conker ever got into Smash, he’d not only need his own stage, but also music from Conker’s Bad Fur Day, including Smash remixes of Windy & Co. and Rock Solid.
It’ll never happen, but it’d be pretty cool if there was a Mortal Kombat adventure/beat 'em up spin-off, similar to Shaolin Monks, starring Johnny Cage.
A lot of fighting game franchises have two specific characters that are so iconic that you just can’t have those games without them. Street Fighter has Ryu & Ken, Mortal Kombat has Scorpion & Sub-Zero, Tekken has Kazuya & Jin, KOF has Kyo & Iori, and Guilty Gear has Sol & Ky.
I think Cyclops, Spider-Man, and Captain America might be the only Marvel shotos in the Marvel VS Capcom series.
I’m hoping we get at least ONE Final Fight character for Street Fighter 6… like Sodom.
I kinda would like to see Balrog (Boxer), Vega (Claw), and Sagat return for Street Fighter 6.
What’s your favorite fighting game character archetype? Call me boring if you want, but I think mine might be the Shoto Character (Balanced/All-Rounder). They're easy to use, but hard to master.

If Nintendo ever makes Super Mario Maker 3, I'm kind of hoping they'll add Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario Land 2, Super Mario Advance 4, New Super Mario Bros DS or Wii, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder as game styles.

It’s funny how Skeletor sometimes calls He-Man a muscle-bound buffoon, and yet Skeletor himself is also quite muscular. In fact, almost all of the men in the show are completely muscular and the women are curvy in a somewhat athletic way.

It'll never happen, but it'd be pretty cool if Capcom got Yoko Shimomura to do an official arrangement album of the Street Fighter II soundtrack, including the themes from Super Street Fighter II. After all, she WAS technically the main composer.

I may or may not have said this before, and it may not happen anytime soon, but it'd be pretty cool if ArcSys did a Guilty Gear x BlazBlue crossover game, with graphics similar to Xrd and Strive.

It probably won’t happen anytime soon (if ever), but I’m hoping someday, somehow, Konami will bring Dance Dance Revolution back to home consoles.
It'll never happen, but I'm kind of hoping Nintendo will bring back the Doki Doki Panic (the Japanese counterpart of Super Mario Bros. 2) characters in a future Mario game.

To summarize, Yoko Shimomura composed the theme songs for all of the original eight characters and bosses, except Sagat.
Fun fact: The majority of Street Fighter II's soundtrack was composed by Yoko Shimomura. She composed Ryu's Theme, Ken's Theme, Chun-Li's Theme, and yes, even Guile's Theme. She didn't compose Sagat's Theme, though. That was Isao Abe.
It probably won’t happen anytime soon (if ever), but I’m kind of hoping Nintendo and Microsoft will come to some sort of agreement and bring Killer Instinct to NSO, or, better yet, port the arcade versions of KI1 and KI2 to Switch or Nintendo’s next console.
I just found out that PARANOiA from Dance Dance Revolution contains a sample of Vampire Killer from Castlevania:
I guess it's hardly surprising, since they’re both Konami franchises. -
