    Yet Another Rate My Marth

That looks awesome. I'm gonna remember to do that so much more~ I'll go with that. I'm usually too busy bouncing around like an idiot to watch what's going on and punish rolls I guess. I tend to just lazily hug the edge and hope for a free hit when he's forced onto the stage because it's...

    Yet Another Rate My Marth

Recorded a whole load of videos the other day, so I figured they'll all go here when they're processed. First batch is up!~ vs Shiek: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Evvuuck4E4I http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=38vabP13Qbo (the other decent one) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9FN8o0H9Go8 (Zelda is a...

Stage Tournament: Pokemon Stadium 2 Vs. PictoChat

Best: Dialga/Palkia battle Worst: Route 209 (great song originally, but they murdered it with the remake)

    Problem with Short Hopping

Try sliding your finger across the x button sideways. Failing that, use Z for jump ('s what I do~).

The "Mastery and Skill Requirement" Ranking

Lucario is is probably 'difficult'. Lots of wierd hitboxes and lots of lag on his moves. Marth for Very Easy? Easy to pick up and c-stick spam.

I rarely use the A button when playing with Marth

I find myself barely ever taking my thumb off c-stick. Because the DI is so insane in this game, you can do some awesome stuff with retreating fairs and the like. Makes it really, really hard to punish me for doing... anything. And diminishing returns kind of works in my favour - opens up...

    Aura Sphere set-ups

Spamming BAS in close range is great for creating opportunities when you've got nothing better to do, especially since it covers behind you if they roll, and people just don't seem ready for it.

    Recommend playing cpu?

^^ I 3-stocked a lvl 9 pikachu. Took me 5 attempts. Did it by gimping his recovery - the way it uses quick attack is somewhat predictable. Yeah, level 9s are great practice, -if you play them like real people- and don't attempt to exploit their programming. And they do a lot of very neat...

Scar on the Melee vs Brawl debate: What does competitive really mean?

But isn't that what [main] argument against brawl is? That campy, projectile spammy players can just stand there and defend? To be honest, I've had less problems with campy players in brawl than in melee. We don't have anything as nasty the old falco laser storm. QFT. After playing the...

    What Controller do you use?

I used the wiimote and nunchaku for ages and got really used to it. With shake smashes on (and they seriously work just as well as the c-stick; at least for me, I was doing retreating fairs and the like no problem) I can't see any way in which it is inferior to the GC controller. But then I went...

Scar on the Melee vs Brawl debate: What does competitive really mean?

Woah, 66 pages. Has anyone tried to demonstrate this 'gimped approach game' thing in video form? As in, an offensive player trying again and again with every possible approach to get a hit in on a defensive one, who just stands still and owns him every time? I've watched a lot of 'high level'...

    Shouldn't Lucario be faster?

You could always extremespeed across the stage. It's not as fast as running, but it looks cool~

    The Color Question!

Green. But none of them really stand out as much as say, dark link.

Lucario: A combo king in the making...

In my experience double fairs almost -always- work, and are real easy to space as long as you're moving (they keep hitting for ages). Dash -> spot dodge -> SH dair is my favorite approach atm. Also, you probably know that dair can knockback in almost any direction. Do you think it's possible to...
