Recorded a whole load of videos the other day, so I figured they'll all go here when they're processed. First batch is up!~

vs Shiek:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Evvuuck4E4I
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=38vabP13Qbo (the other decent one)
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9FN8o0H9Go8 (Zelda is a *****!)
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NMxlK5DqA1w (BALOOOOONS) (probably the most fun to watch¬)
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6fNqqzuG_9U (NOT my choice in music)

Nothing special there yet, but it might be interesting to pick apart.

EDIT: Thanks for all the comments; lots of stuff to work on.
- The whole down tilt thing. It's a beast, I get it.
- Keeping my smashes to myself on early %s. Replace with tilts.
- Actually edgeguard.
- Punish more with DB, but be ready to stop if it doesn't connect.
- Kill 'spotdodge reflex'. My whole group has it, and none of us realised until now.

I'll keep the rest of the vids to myself and record another load when I get better. Also, this board is awesome~

(please feel free to continue to Rate My Marth!)

There were some times where you could have used dolphin slash out of the shield. Also on of the major flaws you and your opponent had was the fact that instead of moving out of the way you guys rolled everywhere and on top of that there were rolls that could have been punished with Dancing Blade. When your opponent was on the ledge I would have applied more pressure than just an u-tilt. I mean it wasn't dreadful it was all right nothing special like you said. What program did u use to edit your vid though?

That looks awesome. I'm gonna remember to do that so much more~

I'll go with that. I'm usually too busy bouncing around like an idiot to watch what's going on and punish rolls I guess.

I tend to just lazily hug the edge and hope for a free hit when he's forced onto the stage because it's safe.

Yup. As I upload more I'll point out the matches I play well.

What program did u use to edit your vid though?
5 minutes in Sony Vegas I think, but someone else is doing them now.

Great review, lots of help. Moar plx.

Rate My Marth!
Marth's aerial game is vitally important dude. You shouldn't try and develop something less so.

Regarding the matches, basically what the other guys said but also, you BARELY use dtilt, which is incredibly awesome for Marth. IASA frames plus sweet range as a poke. Use it.

Needs more dolphin slash. Also, you need to break yourself of the 'spotdodge reflex' as soon as possible. Dodge when there's actually an attack rather than out of habit.

Well in the second video, when you forced Shiek to recover on the stage and tried to hit her with an up-Smash...You could have substituted that U-smash for Dancing Blade,D-tilt,u-tilt,or a grab. I would save your smashes for later when they become most effective as a killing move. One thing I've learned is that if you stand near the edge and hold your shield out you drastically deprive your opponent of options. If they try to hit you with a ledge attack or a ledge hopped attack and they are right in front of you, you can give them a free Dolphin slash and it will make it even harder for them to come back on the ledge. Towards the end when shiek did here tilits and then her d-smash you were close enough to finish it off with a F-smash just would have been stylish thats all :)

In the third match, use your fairs as a way to approach and back away. You used fair pretty close to the opponent and you could have substitued those with DB(Dancing Blade) You took the advice of not rolling pretty good, but I find that you were using b-air to attack your enemey if they were behind you. Even though Dash Dancing is pretty bad to an extent you can use that so that you are facing your opponent and then use your f-airs instead of your b-airs to attack.

Third Match if your opponent air dodges most of the time after a F-throw stop using Fair and start using DB or anticipate the air dodge and grab him again. When shiek was charging her F-smash it would have been a good idea to start walking up to her and charging yours, so that when she performed her smash you can counter attack with yours and tip her if you spaced correctly. I cant blame you for popping ballons as they are the second best thing to do in Brawl.(the first is grabbing your opponent in the air with Gannons Side-b lol)

Fourth match didnt watch itto lazy lol fifth match same stuff applies as above just learn when to slow down your game and abuse your tilts. The jabs were nice but some more tilts wouldnt hurt. Thats all I got hoped that help
P.S. Can ya tell me the name of the music you used lol.

1.dancing blade would help for some dmg
2.Use f-smash only for Kill or force some one off edge.
3.when he/she turns into zleda expect smashes.
4.????
5.profit

I only watched the 4th vid, but here is what I compiled:

Pros:
-Nice Spacing
-Didn't roll behind enemy or anything else resulting in free/easy hits
-Lots of retreating Fairs, nice defensive game

Cons:
-Punish with Dancing Blade more, it works amazingly well
-Edgeguard, EVERY time you knocked the opponent off you just hugged the edge. Just fairs will do you wonders off the edge
-A couple of times even after the first couple of hits of dancing blade missed you finished the entire combo, and you got punished for it. theres no need for that
-Too much smashing early on. You should try and keep the smashes unstale (is that a word?) until you are ready to kill. Theres also easier and safer ways of racking up damage.
-Need more Ftilt, Dtilt, and dolphin slash

Overall pretty nice job, but you have a lot of room for improvement
