  • wut have u seen? i mean i know i made that tech.
i think the stig gave me props for being the best puff hes played and showing him alot of techs he didn't know. in our first ladder match, i two-stocked glick, and was punishing all of his rollouts and pounds, he also said i was a better puff(at that time!!!) and didn't know about the tech til then
its great that when u cant back up wut u said u just critique my grammar and call me an idiot, i find that very childish(expects a come back involving me being mor childish xd)
no im 100% i new that b4 glick. Glick learned it from me for one. back on gfaqs, u can archive it...i made a topic a month after the game came out about rollout grabbing a cpu computer. second. the first time i played glick/jiggernaut, they had no idea it exsisted and gave me props on it. get ur facts straight bro
I think you should get other jiggly mainers to do help, honestly, I would not do good defending jiggly. =/
But it's definetly a great start
You should state what makes those matchup's advantageous for her. Not many people understand what makes her so great.
As hilarious as that is, I can honestly say that I'm not surprised.
Good luck. I think a lot of them are stubborn, but if you provide enough evidence I'm sure you could change at least some of their opinions.
I haven't faced a good jiggy myself, but purely from paper she/he (what do you guys consider jiggly?) is a beast.
Since the rant thread got closed I must say woodman cannot handle every match up. Mmac ***** him.
Hey, I need to get the dK dash-attack footage up as a favor to Bowyer. How should I send it to you.
Can I ask where you got the Jigglypuff match-up chart? A lot of character boards seem to have that same one and I was wondering if I would get a copy or whatever.

    Also, yo. =P
I made a forumn guidelines thread so hopefully new players will avoid this s*** in the future. I think it should be stickied to save us a lot of grief.

[EDIT] Its a generic Newbie thread. I put whatever I thought of in it. I wanted to reduce these types of posts/threads:

    1. I found X
    2. I'm so great.
    3. I'm so confused.
    4. What's a DUCAS?
    5. Yo let me tell you all about me and
    6. post random videos in the wrong places.
    7. New AT: foxtrotting
Hey Alex. Hey. Hey. What's a DACUS. lol i r confuzd
What. What is it? IDK? SRY noob question ftl
I need to ask 5 billion times on the Jiggs forums because I can't bother to look in the f***ing tactical AT thread.

We should post a warning that anyone asking what a DACUS is will be summarily executed.
I've know items are not a part of regular tournaments but my thread was just a simple idea I thought about preserving to use just know and use it as a contribution to this forum or at least the Jiggly section
Just tested this also - If Zelda times her FSmash she can catch jiggs in her shield from the waveland. Zelda's last hit of FSmash pushes jiggs back enough for Zelda to be out of grab range.

Also nayru's works to beat out a buffered grab from the waveland.
Zelda's jab has no cooldown. absolutely none once it's finished. This means she can do something to your shield before you can put your shield down.
It takes 6 or 7 frames to put down your shield from the waveland and then to do a move. Yes you'll avoid the jabs, but I have the frame advantage to begin a dtilt lock, farores, or usmash (which will be close to destroying your shield), so it's slightly unsafe against her, though still a better approach.

I'm not too fussed over 5% really. But either way I seriously think it's just jiggs' weight that lets her down. If she were slightly heavier with that moveset she'd be fine =( Zelda's heavier, stronger in knockback, and too difficult to invade without risk. And her jab is underestimated. No one even stops to think about her jab but it's her super secret move, along with dtilt.
okay good. I was half hoping you would say no because this gives me a chance to prewarn you and say I can't land rests for the life of me!! =D I'm too scared ^^ Okay maybe tomorrow or something! Give me a shout when you're free at all!
Hiya! I know you've had enough of me but I was wondering if I could jiggs ditto with you? Jiggs is like a nice and surprising pocket character for me to use and I want to get good ^^ Let me know if you can
Jigglypuff is my guilty pleasure. I always lurk her boards. You've done a wicked job. It's about time someone like you recognised her potential and improves her metagame. Jiggs is just played a lot differently than other characters, many people just disown her as a viable character for not realising this. We need more diversity in the tournament scene.
Wavelanding? I just read in your guide and noticed the thread in the forums... jiggs is definitely a bag of tricks. The guide is great!, jiggs' metagame is on the up.

    Why did glick quit?
good shout! jiggs is underrated and underepresented in tournaments. I saw this player, (glick I think?) going against a ROB, and it just occurred to me that any character has a viable chance of winning with the right strategy. In jiggs' case against Zelda, play it patient, and stall the match when you have a percentage advantage. Zelda's like some burning tree, she's so rooted to the ground her movement is terrible, but can seriously lay on the pain if you get too close.
Cool! Camping sucks =( but if it's the way to win in tournament then so be it I guess =(

I'll PM you or link you to the summary when it's written up. We havn't discussed jiggs yet so it might be sometime.
Best use it just when she thinks it's safe, then slide in and attack. Don't telegraph it in advanced by charging it otherwise she'll teleport.

Good stuff in the forums anyways! Is it alright if we use 65:35 too and link to that thread? or do you reckon there's more to the matchup?
If this is the case, she will simply farore's to another point away from jiggs' dacus.

It might be better to chase her in the air when she's falling to the ground as opposed to using dacus, but dacus is still definitely viable with what you said then!
I know! I need to delete all the useless I stuff I have in there ^^ When someone airdodges into the ground, they have 2 frames of lags and then can do anything! This means jiggs' dacus won't work on Zelda because it hits over 10 frames.

Zelda's USmash is 6 frames long, her DSmash is 4 and nayru's is 4. With an airdodge landing these will total 8, 6 and 6 respectively, which all outspeed jiggs' DACUS on her. This by no means makes Zelda immune to dacus, it's just that Zelda has a safe option to counter it and it shouldn't really hit her often.
