ugh........ about 'unique characters' characters in other games can have different physics, attack speed, multiple jumps, teleports, you name it. For just about every smash character there is an equivalent character from another fighter. Samus is based on Dhalsim Mario is obviously Ryu...

Just because someone doesn't view smash as one of the BEST competitive fighters doesn't mean they can't enjoy playing it. People still play Rock paper scissors, even though they know that it is tactically an inferior game than chess.

I do play MvC <.< My point was that a lot needs to be banned in smash to make it competition ready. Items Stages Stalling (Rising Pound, etc) In some tourneys wobbling is banned (which i disagree with) whereas a street fighter game is competition ready 'out of the box' so to speak. I think...
