Y'know what, Wario3's profile post about Tetris in Smash inspired me. Here's a (incomplete) moveset concept for a Tetromino in Smash.
- The Tetromino's goal is to overwhelm their opponents and create situations where they can be deadly; Just how a Tetris player works to create situations where they can easily clear lines.
- The Tetromino's default shape would be a O-Tetromino (a 2x2 cube) floating in the air. It would shift its body into other shapes for most of its attacks (I would imagine its Neutral Air being a T-Spin).
- Specials
- Neutral Special (Tetromino): A random Tetromino would appear at the very top of the screen and begin slowly falling down, being able to deal light damage/knockback on the way down. Holding Neutral Special while the block descends causes it to hard drop (drop faster), dealing more damage/knockback and allowing it to spike. It will stop moving after hitting a solid platform, after which it becomes a temporary obstacle.
- Up Special (Garbage Rise): A bunch of garbage blocks appear beneath Tetromino, causing it to be launched into the air.
- Down Special (Hard Drop): Pretty much the Yoshi Bomb.
- I'd try and fit at least some reference to Tetris Attack, but I couldn't find a way to fit it in this time around. Maybe as an alternate costume?
Fun Fact: The pink/purple water in Chemical Plant Zone is called Mega Mack or "megamalatricarboSonichloride"

Not gonna lie guys, I can't think of a "funny" status post for today.
Uhhh... I played Minecraft! Surely I can get some mileage out of that!
I kinda wish Mario Strikers Battle League had the character themes be music from the actual games. There's two reasons for this:
- For all its shortcomings, the metal remixes of past Mario game music featured in Battle League are actually pretty well-done.
- We'd get more of that. Imagine a heavy metal cover of Waluigi Island from Party 3 or Bowser's theme from SM64. It'd be glorious.
I've been kinda quiet about it, but I've been on a bit of an SCP binge these past few days. I just stumbled upon SCP-6595 - The SCP as a whole is alright, but I think my favorite thing about it is the implication that Kermit the Frog and the other Muppet Show muppets are just regular, everyday people that exist in the SCP universe with nothing anomalistic about them at all.

last night i had a dream where i was playing a pac-man game with rayman as an unlockable character (plus a female version of himself) and annalynn art as an unlockable bonus
now why can’t i have dreams like that more often
- 17th - Terrarian/Dust super moves (plus fighter unlock requirements)
- 18th - Knight/Octane alts
- 19th - Terrarian/Dust animations
- 20th - Knight/Octane super moves
- 21st - Annalynn/Lilac movesets
- 22nd - Knight/Octane animations
- 23rd - Annalynn/Lilac alts
- 24th - Annalynn/Lilac super moves/animations
- Maybe I'll bump the animations to the 25th, I dunno.
- A few days after the 24th - First DLC submission job!!!!!one!!!
I love how speedrun.com has different logos for a bunch of different games with records. They don't need to. But they do.
Funky Kong as a DK echo is a weird thing once you think about it. In order to represent the former well, you'd probably have to have him standing up, but DK is on all fours in Smash aside from stuff like his old dash attack and his taunts.
I'm not saying I'm against Funky being an echo; I'm just saying that it'd be weird seeing him on all fours for what I think would be the first time in his 28 years of existance.

Aaaand day 1 of my ROA expedition is complete! Out of the eleven characters I've ranked so far, two of them have gotten into my highest tier, which was really surprising.
Today marks the beginning of my journey.
136 RoA workshop characters, all in one (personally enjoyment-based) tier list.
