When do you guys think we will see Pokemon character reveals then? Will it be like Marth where it's almost random or do you think Gamefreak has something planned?

That would make a lot of sense. I bet he's pretty frustrated if that is the case. If so, do you think the game might ship without revealing certain characters or Pokeballs because Game Freak is making the decisions? I can't remember if the Smash Dojo revealed all the Pokeball Pokemon or not.

I've made peace with myself about the fact that 4/6 of my mains have a good chance of being cut (PT, Lucario, Wolf, and Ike). In addition to those four I could also see Lucas and Snake. That's about all I can see being cut as ROB is too unique and Toon Link was already confirmed.

Pokemon is clearly being ignored by Sakurai and I am very curious as to why that is. With the recent DDD and Zelda reveals we can pretty clearly see that Sakurai is releasing a veteran with most Japanese release dates and yet one of the most represented series in Smash snuck by their big release...

I'm all for every franchise having more than one rep and Wario Ware needs a newcomer. Ashley is definitely the most interesting choice and I can see them doing a lot with her moveset. Also, with the new Rosalina reveal it definitely boosts the chances of more obscure characters like Ashley...

I didn't want Rosalina necessarily (I didn't really have an opinion on her), but that video made me so hyped and she looks so cool that I am honestly really pleased. This gives me hope that the rest of the newcomers are as badass as this.

Yeah I disagree that Viridi has been deconfirmed. She has yet to be seen, I think Sakurai was just referencing the scene and not that Viridi was actually doing it at that time. Basically I will consider her deconfirmed when we see a picture of her not being a character or other evidence like we...

I would love to see Chibi Robo. A definite supporter right here. The Chibi-Robo original game was just awesome enough to pull me in past all the weird stuff that happened in it. I absolutely adore this character, and I have a strong desire for not-yet-represented series to become represented.

I do love me some reps for series that don't have any yet. Throw me down as a supporter. I would love to see an Advanced Wars rep after playing so many of them on my emulator.

I know it is way too early in the newcomer reveal cycle to tell what kind of newcomers Sakurai is looking at, but for now all we know is that all three characters are from franchises who have not been represented yet. This makes me think that we might see some more new franchises get represented...
