@ Brosuke
It's not the same as a normal footstool. It does everything that a normal footstool does, but we can also do a fast, horizontal footstool if we're holding left/right when we footstool the opponent/item.

So, I wanna know if this will work on SV / Lylat. Gonna do some testing later tonight to check.

dsmash -> downb horizontal footstool -> platform cancel -> drop through -> redsmash

This would make Lylat kind of godlike if it worked.

Tested that in a different form.

Dsmash, footstool, platform cancel, dropthrough, lock with fair, dsmash

It works til fair stops locking, but the fair hitbox is too thin to hit certain characters. It won't work on Marth/Snake for sure. MK I'm unsure on (looked like it could hit) and well, yeah. That's all.

edit: also way hard to do =(

edit2:
Also, an entirely feasible edition of this combo on SV:
Dsmash > footstool > PC > fair > ftilt/da lock > nb > roll behind > lock to other side> time with platform > dsmash on getup > repeat

On LC we can
Dsmash > footstool > Pc > nb > dsmash > footstool > pc > nb etcetcetc

Difficulty doesn't matter. If it works as a true infinite on Lylat on ANY characters it's stupid good.

Not any character, might be with a silent landing neutralB but who knows. Fair at least doesn't work on thin characters.
I meant as in, if it works on any subset of all characters, not every character.

Bad phrasing on my part.

Ground release = jab, and jab true combos on Olimar, putting in in a situation where he can get sideB'd, dash attacked or regrabbed. Dash attack combos into jab in this position too lol
On air release we get uair.

@Mink

Don't follow up with Uair because Nair.
UpB and UpSmash are pretty cool though.
I thought uair could beat all downward facing aerials when spaced properly. Is this untrue? It can outspace G&W's dair, so I'd suspect it should be able to outspace ROB's nair.

Rob's Nair has this weird delay to it, besides that, it's just not worth it to take the uair risk IMO, way better to use upb/usmash, that way you don't get killed at 80% if you accidentally misspace high up.

What? No way!!! Upair is so fast and ***** rob before he can ever get the move out. The only way that he would hit you with nair is if he predicts and starts really early. This is when you simply wait and bait the move and punish. Upair is our absolute best tool in this match up

I guess tourneys themselves will sort themselves better. Aka, average skill levels lose vs better players instead of MK knocking good players into a stacked losers bracket lol.

I feel like i was becoming okay on the MK MU, but, overall i'm happy. Now i just have to worry about Falco.

I don't know if i should pick up IC's or Pikachu for it.

Whatch ya'll think?
